I bought 3 items. The usual buyers premium was 20 but upped to 22%. Then if I payed by credit card OR WIRE they tacked on an additional 3%.
When I payed by ACH debit the 3% went away and I was left paying additional 11.1% TAX even though the combined tax of my town and state (Illinois) is only 8.5%.
Still waiting for a response from these crooks!

Its been 2 months and no payout
UK seller here. I traditionally use ebay and UK based auction houses but thought I'd give Goldin a try meeting them at a Card show in London. Their representatives were a pleasure to chat to, 6 cards were consigned to them.
My cards featured in their pop culture auction in March/April. All cards sold and the funds from the auction was sitting in my goldin account, no worries.
I was away at the time and once I returned home at the beginning of June from a sabbatical leave. I contacted goldin regarding the payout which is circa of $2600. For over 2 months I have been back and forth with their customer service team provided my payout details numerous times and still have not been paid. Even when they've said you'll see the money in your account in 10 working days..I've had this message now 5 times with no payments made. So at some point in the near future I will have to take this matter further.
As an international seller I've never been more disappointed with an auction platform than I am with Goldin and will certainly not be recommending them to any of my contacts here in the UK.

Extremely Disappointed with Goldin…
Extremely Disappointed with Goldin Auctions' Unprofessionalism and Lack of Communication
I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the services provided by Goldin Auctions. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal with others considering doing business with them.
In December 2023, I submitted an item for auction with Goldin Auctions, hoping to secure a fair and timely sale. The item went to auction in January and concluded in February, with the final bid exceeding $3,000. Naturally, I expected to receive my payment shortly after the auction's end, as per their stated payment terms.
However, to my dismay, the buyer backed out, leaving me in a precarious position. Despite having waited until May for payment, Goldin Auctions failed to fulfill their commitment. When I requested the return of my item, they callously cited their contract, refusing to honor my request. Adding insult to injury, they assured me that the item would be included in the upcoming auction the following month, but this never came to fruition.
Fast forward to mid-June, and I find myself in a state of utter frustration and despair. Goldin Auctions has left me in the dark, ignoring my numerous phone calls and voice messages. It is evident that they have no regard for their customers' financial needs or personal circumstances.
What makes this situation even more distressing is the fact that I had plans to utilize the funds from the sale towards my upcoming wedding in October. Goldin Auctions' blatant disregard for my situation and their failure to uphold their end of the agreement has put me in an incredibly difficult position.
The lack of professionalism and communication exhibited by Goldin Auctions is simply unacceptable. As a customer, I expected transparency, timely payments, and responsive customer service. Unfortunately, Goldin Auctions has fallen far short of these basic expectations.
I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with Goldin Auctions to think twice. Their unprofessionalism and disregard for their customers' needs are evident in my unfortunate experience. I hope that by sharing my story, others can be spared from the frustration and disappointment that I have endured.
Please be aware of the risks involved in dealing with Goldin Auctions, and consider seeking alternative auction houses that value their customers and uphold their commitments.

Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. Bought a ufc 300 poster signed for £900 retail. They sold in minutes was lucky to get it. Messaged Goldin as I saw one go on eBay for £2500 almost instantly. Said I wanted around 4k for it. They put it on auction for a zero starting bid with no reserve when I question them with a few days left on auction about this was told they don’t do reserves and not to worry as bidding doesn’t start until the end of most auctions. This was on for 30 days and it sold for $1580 minus the fees I was due $1300. Absolutely shocking as it cost me £250 to send over. This is one of the holy grails of ufc memorabilia. Now to top this off I can’t even withdraw my money because I’m from the uk every time I try it says I need a routing number or stripe which is USA only this is now 8 weeks on and still no money. Joke

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I sent my card to get graded through PSA and was hoping to get it back back by a certain date because it said it was finished on PSA. I decided to have them send it directly to Goldin which was fast of course, but not as fast as Goldin pays you the money (3-5) days. Not to mention Goldin charges crazy fees so if your selling anything under 1k than just sell it privately. My cj card should of got 400 but it got $270 because of the stupid auction

I lost money using this auction site
I lost money using this auction site. I sent them a large group of cards and they did not post them all at once. They selected which auction to post them to. It was spread out over a month. The selection of which cards to be put up in each auction was without thought or any kind of logic.
They put up four of the same card, but different grades, in the same auction. I competed against myself. Three of the four sold for less than the $15 minimum and they kept the cards. The one that was highest graded sold for $200.
One of the other cards they listed had a mistake in the players name. I contacted them four times to change the name, but they did not. With a wrong name no one could see it and it did not sell. This is 100% on them.

When i bought a pokemon card from Goldin they told me that the shiping to france where I live will be 9 dollars but when i won the auction they bumped up the price extreamly high. The card was only 15 dollars but after "handling fee" and "shipping fee" it came out 115 dollars.
