The cashier when you come in the door a young male 18/20 did not greet anyone in front of us nor did he greet us he told me the price $41.96 rudely I gave him my card the hand the receipt folded up with my card I said Thank you my guest said Thank you neither received a response We pick our table my guest had to get his jacket from the car because the dining room was so cold we wait for the waitress to comes she finally dose we gave her our drink order she wrote her name on our receipt and said if we need anything let her know we both got some food on our plates got back to the table and she brought our drinks we asked for silverware she made a comment yeah I guess your going to need that 2 or 3 minutes later she bring the silverware I had fried fish on my plate and shrimp a dinner roll and rice the rice was still pretty warm but not cooked completely the fish was soggy and cold the shrimp over cooked and hard looking at the color of the fried shrimp you could definitely tell it was 3 batches cooked at separate times the dinner roll was cold but still good I decided on trying the fish a new batch was cooked while it was hot and the taste was great it could have stayed in the grease another 45 second to a minute to give a little more crisp (I cook all the seafood at a mom and pop restaurant in a near by state I know my seafood haven't seen the waitress I go to the dessert bar it looked like it hadn't been refreshed in hours very few items of each dessert left I decided on ice cream I chose the vanilla and chocolate swirl it was plain chocolate so I added a dab of Vanilla on top added some hot Caramel and wanted hot fudge it was empty oh there's the waitress my guest flagged her down for drinks we'd been needing for at least 20 minutes I grabbed a few of the blue gummy fish they had next to the ice cream unfortunately they were the best part of the meal my guest had soggy okra uncooked rice roast beef with hardly any flavor a chicken breast that was good however the skin was to crunchy and cooked in old grease this is our second experience with Golden Coral in the last 3 months 2 different states lousy service and I've had better food out of a hospital Cafe Get it together GC your loosing the game

The food was not to bad but it was too salty some of the food. The place in Columbia 5300 Forest Dr. it need to be remodel. In side is dirty and it is disgusting. I would never go there again. We all gotten sick. Please it would not be so bad if it was clean inside. The tables was wobbling and I could not get comfortable to eat, just looking to see how dirty it was I wanted to walk out but I paid my money. The staff was wonderful and polite they was not the problem the problem is inside need alot of updating. Sorry , but it is the truth. Please do better .

I am taking the time to write again because I have gone here another 20 times because my family likes to pick and choose different things to eat but I have spoke with front managent..managers... etc. About the grey extra done roast beef they serve here and now golden corral barely has any roast beef available if they have any at all and it is beyond welldone, more like dead grey overkill. I have mentioned this everything I've gone to eat there and why they are always out of roast beef by 500 pm daily. They said there tryimg to cut costs. Well then lower the price too. I've eaten at these establishments over the years 100s of times and must say I have never experienced a buisness that doesn't care about the meat or even having it on buffet. I wouldn't recommend this place to people I didn't like. Run down. Dirty surroundings, bathrooms are filthy. Poor poor job done here.

Today May 5 2023 fried chicken skin cooked into the meat, first all some of us peal the skin off unhealthy and when skin is cooked into the meat trying to eat it is a choking hazard, end up disregarding lots of white meat. Past Monday seen pot roast dumped into the pad black burnt side lay down out of site. I notice the cream gravy is being water down again. From what I hear the fry cook has a bad attitude. When I was leaving I heard some one ask for their grill pork to be cooked medium, I laugh the only thing they know is burn it. Beware of Mesquite Texas store.

Today, after being closed for a long time, I visited golden corral # 766 in Tampa, its remodeling was spectacular, the food was delicious and fresh. but, there was something that impacted me a lot and it was the treatment of the supposed manager Andrea Sanders to a young waitress, because the place was super busy and the waitress had 2 tables which she had not cleaned, I can understand that working under pressure is difficult, but nothing justifies the rude way of treating her workers and even less in front of the costumers, we all witness her bad attitude, she has no professional ethics at all and I think they should take measures in this regard so that she controls her character, because to directing a team work is based on respect

Today my family and I ate at Golden Corral for a late lunch, the buffet and the entire ninety minutes we were there, there was almost nothing on the buffet, we were charged $40.51 total for three buffets for the buffet line being close to empty. My husband talked to one of the employees as none of the three managers could be bothered to talk to a customer. The only thing they were keeping up with was grilled cheese sandwiches. Who wants to eat a grilled cheese sandwich when you pay over twelve dollars a person? I don’t, it’s pretty sad when a manager can’t be bothered, then get excuses saying they are working on getting the buffet line filled, I for one not buying it. If they are going to continue to drive up prices and not have anything on the buffet line except what’s obvious what’s been on there for a long time, you will not only lose my business but I will tell everyone that I come across not to go to Golden Corral because they keep only old food on the line. The servers are just as annoyed the managers because they don’t want to do anything nor can’t be bothered to talk to a customer. Our server was a sweetheart, she really did a great job in taking care of us but her other customers as well.

Very crowded for a Monday evening, which is good business for them, BUT not so good for consumer. Reasonable fee for dinner BUT quality of food wasn't really there. Some items were not restocked after depleted & poor waters & waitresses were harried & seemed frantic for the # of customers. Overall I experienced it BUT do not plan on returning as to chaotic!
