So one thing about the way we do…
So one thing about the way we do business is that we are very straightforward right from the start. Meaning we don't beat around the push with the type of business and transactions that we do. We are very transparent with our practitioners, vendors, and every type of client that we encounter. I was very clear about my requirements with this group right from the beginning and disclosed every bit of information that they needed. We discussed every thing from every aspect (acquired entity's statements, tax ID's etc) Somehow after 3 days they came back to me with a cash advance (the worst) offer we have ever received and told me that "I was involved in too many transactions" I understand you are trying to broker for others but our bank statements ended up with a LOT of MCA lenders that we did not want them to end up with. -EDIT: Since you stated below you don't "remember" a Mark Cohen. I have sent you more information so you can remember clearly since we have spoken more than 15-20 times on email. and thank you for assuming that our transaction was not a 'legitimate' one.
Response from The Holloway Funding GroupMar 12, 2022
Mark, we truly apologize if there has been some sort of misunderstanding or miscommunication at some point in the funding process. We have attempted to look into the situation but do not have any recent submissions from a business owner with the name Mark Cohen, so we're struggling to locate your situation. We do however make it clear that we provide funds directly in the form of Merchant Cash Advances, as well as leverage our relationships with many commercial lenders in an effort to secure a better option for those that qualify for one! If this was a legitimate situation we would offer the opportuntiy to rectify anything you feel to have been done incorrectly. However, there is unfortunately nothing we can do when a business does not qualify for a program they hope to qualify for, and we will always present the available options to the business owner even if they are not what was originally hoped for. *EDIT* Thank you for the updated information Mark, the reason you're account could not be found is you are not the business owner of the business that applied. So you're name is not assigned. To address the situation a little better, the problem I see is unrealistic expectations. The business was qualified for a A tier merchant cash advance, but you're company was seeking traditional finance options that are unfortunately unavailable for a newly acquired business. If the company had been purchased 2 years ago, and showed an increase of approximately 150% in profitability there would be traditional options available. But there is unfortunately no financial institution willing to provide the program you're company is seeking to a new business showing a loss. This does not make our company illegitimate but the complete opposite.
