GoFractional as a service is great
GoFractional as a service is great. The recruiter aspect is a bonus. My biggest issue so far is the online platform and the payment dates. The platform: It would be nice if the Dashboard showed my current jobs and hourly commitments for each month while also showing me my hours completed thus far - based on my own reporting/input. I also thought that there would be a way for me to report on GoFractional how many hours I work each week or each month that would then be sent/viewable to the company I work with. I noticed that GoFractional already invoiced my company for September even though September just started. So it then opens the question: what if I go over my allotted hours? I know that overages are not subject to the 20% cut GF takes, but is it up to me and the company to come up with a system for tracking these instances? Would they then pay me outside of GoFractional platform/payment methods? And let's say in the future, I am under my allotted hours - having already sent the invoice so early makes things tricky? Just a thought? Lastly - I would have liked more clarity on onboarding onto the platform - more of an overview of what to expect in terms of process and how the platform works. The terms of service we sign at the beginning has a lot of information, but perhaps some sort of pop-up that explains the different tabs, billing schedules, etc. Overall I am a huge fan...I really hope GoFractional doesn't become UpWork or Fiverr. I really like the recruiter aspect of GoFractional and I hope the community stays thoughtful and intentional. I like to think there is a level of exclusivity on GoFractional that you wouldn't get anywhere else....

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback, and for the kind words about our recruiting model and community. Keeping a curated, intentional network is central to what we want Go Fractional to be. You're right that we can do a better job explaining what happens after an engagement begins. To clarify how it works today: billing is structured as monthly retainers, billed upfront at the start of each service period. That said, the process for reporting hours, approving overages, and handling adjustments should be much clearer, both during onboarding and within the dashboard. To clarify overages are subject to the platform fee. We do show active engagements in the platform, but we hear you that they can be easier to access. Making that information more visible and intuitive is something we're actively working on, and your suggestions around showing monthly commitments and reported hours are genuinely helpful as we improve the member experience. Our team will reach out directly to review the billing schedule and overage process for your engagement so everything is fully aligned. Thanks for being part of Go Fractional and for helping us make the platform better.
