I ordered 2 very nice pairs of glasses from glassesshop as this is my first experience ordering glasses online. The glasses arrived quite quickly and were beautiful, packaged nicely etc. However I put them on and I can't see through the top portion of the bifocal lens it is extremely blurry and can see better without. I was so upset as I love the frames and they are so nice, no issues with the bifocal portion. I reached out asking for a refund and they wanted a picture of the prescription which I sent. I also described the issue. I verified that the information on the prescription was what I had sent to them. Now their reply is I can return the glasses, on my dime and if they receive them back they will process a 50% refund. So, I will be out the glasses, I have to pay for my return shipping and they refund me 50% of what I paid LESS the shipping cost. This does not sound to me like a satisfaction guaranteed. It sounds like a way to take your money. What if the mistake was something they did to the lens? I am so upset with the way I feel for this gimmick and hopefully people read my review and see that the satisfaction guaranteed promise does not mean you will receive your money back if not satisfied, you will be out money and glasses. So basically IT COST ME over $40 just to see these glasses...and now I have no glasses and am in the hole.

Unfortunately there was a misdelivery. I've never received the glasses although states delivered almost 1 week ago. I contacted the company first. They just stated it shows delivered. They are doing nothing to help. I filed a claim with the usps. So I can't say the glasses fit. I can't say the prescription is correct. I can't say I'm say satisfied or that I will order again.

Glasses broke after they were used for a couple of weeks, glassshop refused to repair or replace since it was passed the 30 days. Updade (8/7/2023) After submitting my initial low rating and my review, glassesshop reached out to me trying to buy their way into a better review which makes me question their positive reviews and 5 star ratings!!! This is my first time using this company. I received no emails about my purchase (not a confirmation of purchase or estimated timeline) until I received a shipping notification the afternoon after my glasses arrived. My prescription sunglasses are gray tint when I ordered green and my regular glasses are not the right prescription. Customer support is not super fast but not super slow either. I'm waiting on an in-store credit as that is the best they say they can do. The nose-pads they put on their glasses are horrible. Nose-pads are meant to displace the weight of the glasses, but Glasses Shop has made the insane choice of using nose-pads with no flat surfaces so instead of displacing, these nose-pads focus the weight of the glasses. I have a pretty strong prescription so that even when I pay extra to get compacted lenses, my glasses tend to be heavy. My new glasses rubbed my nose bloody within an hour of putting them on. Customer service explicitly defended their nose-pads when i complained, so I would recommend anyone with a strong prescription to stay away from Glasses Shop. Since they will only give me store credit for messing up my glasses I will be forced to order with them again, and I will need to purchase my own replacement nose-pads (because they all but said the terrible nose-pads are an intentional design choice they will defend until they go out of business), but they are pretty cheap on amazon. UPDATE: After trying to purchase a new pair of glasses and realize a large portion of their frames are limited to mild prescriptions but there is no way to tell until you try to put your prescription in. I figure if they can't build a decent website and they already butchered a pair, I should not trust them again. However, GLASSES SHOP REFUSES TO ISSUE ME A FULL REFUND. They want me to send me to send my glasses back to them on my own dime, which I am willing to do, but they then want to add a new shipping cost to my original purchase. They have screwed me over enough and I'm not willing to pay them again for their mistake. If I could take away their one star, I would. Hopefully the BBB will assist me where Glasses Shop has not.

GlassesShop is running an advertisement on google that says “30-Day free return and exchange”. So after I purchased my frames and decided I needed to return them, the return policy on their site is different than what was advertised. Their return policy is that pay for shipping and they give you a 50% refund. There is a phone number to call but no one will answer. They will only correspond through email and they are not willing to help. This company uses deceitful advertising tactics in order for you to make a purchase. I do not recommend.

The return policy for this company is a joke, you can get points for the money you spent so you can spend more money on their cheap glasses. They don’t want to fix the problem. Or you can get a 50% refund if you return the glasses. Obviously these people are price gouging because how are the glasses only worth 50% of what I paid for them? Ridiculous. Now I’m stuck with glasses I do not want or like and out of the money I spent on them as well. Do not buy glasses from these people.
