You just can’t beat the prices! I’m very tough on my glasses. I keep glasses at home, at my condo, in my purse, in the car… At these prices, I can afford to have several pair here and there and prescription sunglasses for a fraction of what I would pay at my optometrist? it’s a no-brainer!

buying glasses online is a crapshoot. you can try different sizes and shapes in stores, but you really don't know until you have that particular frame physically in front of you. that being said, if you receive a pair you don't like, glassesshop will give you credit towards the purchase of another one, unless you just want a refund. i appreciate that they carry the hi index 1.74 and they have enough selection/sales that make it affordable and the quality is just fine. brick-and-mortar prices are a non-starter at 350-750 on average for a progressive decently appointed. barring a trip to japan where you can just go to a mall and walk out w glasses in a half hour, this is a viable option that won't have you spending used-car money.

The search/build process online was easy and customizable. The glasses have narrow field of view both horizontally & vertically for the middle of my progressive lenses. There is no option of a broader or enhanced middle field of view.

I ordered two pairs of glasses and the prescription was correct and the frames were excellent. They came with strong plastic cases instead of those cheap felt eyeglass cases.
