At this point, I'm a dissatisfied customer. I'm not sure what occurred and am anxiously awaiting a response from Gizmogo. I sent my phone, received a check, and then the check was not honored by Gizmogo...it was retracted from my bank account. Cost me the the $12 processing fee at this point. I'll update this post or repost once I receive a response and the results.

Hi, I am so sorry to hear that your experience with our company has not met your expectations. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and I am truly sorry about your experience. I followed up with our accountant, our bank account has experienced some issue due to suspension activity. The payment sent out on that day has been dispute by the bank for security reason. I am so sorry about that, and due to Covid-19, we have less employee on-site which may cause longer time to process order. While we'd love the opportunity to regain your trust, we understand how frustrated you must be. My deepest apologies for any inconvenience we have caused you. We wish you all the best in the future. Please email to [email protected] about your payment info, we will resend payment to you as soon as possible. Sorry again for your experience. Best, John Smith Customer Service Director

You're kidding, right? I sent in my iPhone for payment after completing the website information, the package was tracked by the carrier and showed arrived at Gizmogo, and a payment was received in my PayPal account for the amount agreed upon in the confirmed online order. Then, one day later, I was notified from PayPal that I had a negative balance - for the exact same amount of my payment from Gizmogo - and that I owed PayPal the money. Only after conversing with PayPal did I find out that Gizmogo paid me, then filed a dispute with PayPal for that very same payment it originally issued to me. PayPal said this is a new form of fraud, where the vendor tries to keep the item you sent to them AND also tries to get their money back. Only after I told Gizmogo that I would report them to the authorities did they re-issue the payment back to my PayPal. No apology and no explanation from Gizmogo and no notification from Gizmogo about the disputed payment. Do not use Gizmogo.

What a ripoff.

I’m going to keep my personal bias out of this, since my star rating says it all. Here are the facts as I know them: I sent a total of 9 devices to Gizmogo on the same day. 6 days later, I received payment for 2 of them. After waiting 2 days longer, I contacted them through their “feedback” option on their “contact us” page as that was the only direct way I could find to contact them on their website at that time. I heard nothing back from them for another 2 days. So, I did a google search for them, and found their phone number. Upon calling them, and inquiring about my 7 remaining unpaid devices, I was told that there was an issue with the Post Office, and that they hadn’t been delivered yet. I was told not to worry, that they would be delivered soon. (I was surprised at this, since Post Office tracking showed that all packages had been delivered the same day.) So I waited for another week, and heard nothing, and received no more money. I began to get a bit upset, and as I read articles about the company online, I finally found an email address for a company representative - not in a useful place on their own website - but in an article that had been written about them. I then wrote a stern email asking for explanations. To their credit, I immediately received a response stating that the Post Office had held my packages because they believed the shipping labels I printed out for each item were actually identical duplicates. I received payment for 6 of the remaining 7 devices that day, but one package was listed as “device not in described condition” it was a Google Pixel 3a that I had sent them, so I requested that they return it to me, since they adjusted their offer from $158 down to $30. I assumed it must have been cracked in shipment. However, when I received the package, they had returned a different cheaper device that I had also sent them, an LG V30 instead of the more expensive Pixel that they claimed to be returning! So, I ended up with a $128 net loss on the Pixel. If you send one device, you might be okay, but take caution when trying to send several devices at once....
