1/5 Stars — Quoted 50% below CarMax and Carvana, followed by total ghosting. GiveMeTheVIN came in at literally half the price offered by CarMax and Carvana for the exact same vehicle. When I questioned the absurd lowball and asked for a rational breakdown, the communication dropped off completely. No callbacks, no emails, just silence. Save your time, this company is unprofessional and unreliable. I would hate to what would have happened if I proceeded. Reviews sound like they go back on their quotes and try and give you even less money after they have your car.

Ali Aziz lies and is a scam artist. Run from this place!

Ali Aziz is the least professional person I've ever worked with in my life. He promised me "X" for my car then endlessly haggled with me after we made the deal trying to get me down further on the car. He then blamed "the market shifting" or some nonsense like this. This guy should be fired. Worst experience of my life selling a car. This place is a joke.

I was selling my car. Givemethevin gave me an online offer of $4k (laughable) and Carmax offered me over $13K which was fair market value. I declined giveme's offer and they came back with $7K (still laughable). If I wanted to haggle I'd have traded it in at the dealership which BTW had given me an initial offer of 9K. CarMax earned a customer for life. Givemethevin lost one. For life.

My wife and I tried selling her car to GiveMeTheVIN. They offered $5,000.00 — wonderful. Then the moment we sent them the title, they magically “discovered” that the market had dropped and their new offer was $3,500.00. Oh yes, the mysterious market drop. The kind that apparently happens only inside their building, at the exact moment you send them your title. Truly incredible. Someone alert the economists. Because here’s the comedy: I sold the same car later that same day to a local dealer for $5,600.00. So unless the “market” is located exclusively in their imagination, what really dropped was their attempt at honesty. GiveMeTheVIN didn’t experience a market shift — they tried to pull a classic bait‑and‑switch and hoped we’d just swallow it. If you enjoy being told fairy tales about imaginary market crashes, GiveMeTheVIN is perfect for you. If you prefer reality, go literally anywhere else. GiveMeTheVIN — the pleasure was all yours.

Do not mess with these people im 62 an this is only 2nd bad review I have ever done talked to the same guy every time Ray phone calls emails an text messages did everything they wanting but 15 minutes after I signed the final paperwork he text me said he can't do it now he has pics of my title my jeep my tags my ID SSN were i work everything then this now I'm worried about all my info that he has learn by mistake don't mess with these people

Low ball offers, rip-off

they claim to beat competitors offers, I even told Ben the rep what a competitors offer was, he had me send multiple photos, we had 4 phone calls wasting my time and then came back at over $1k less than the quote I had sent. Avoid them, very shady
