High price; very little return on investment.
Ghost Writing Galaxy has been very attentive and communicative along the marketing campaign I signed up for. Their creativity has been really great, and has aligned with what I envisioned for marketing my book. The cost of the marketing packages this company offers is competitive, but for the amount of sales my book has gleaned from their marketing strategies, I feel like I paid way more for marketing than the return on investment. One thing I didn't appreciate was the attempts of their sales and marketing staff to upsell me to their "best seller" package. This package supposedly gave the best value and included an author website, podcasts, celebrity endorsements, and public book signing events. They offered me this package at $3000, which was at a 40% discount. I let them know that I couldn't afford to commit to that amount of money, and that I was fine with the basic marketing package I had already signed up and paid for. Honestly, if the return on investment were as low for the best seller package as it has been for the basic 3 month marketing package I bought, I'd be extremely disappointed and upset! I paid $800 for my marketing package, and I'll be lucky if I make $100 in book sale royalties from their efforts.
