This was a wonderful means to connect people who are looking for a pet with folks who care about their pet but need to re-home their pet for whatever reason! We were in a place to meet the needs of an AMAZING dog that needed a different home for very understandable reasons. I think it was a win-win for all involved!!!

It would be a 4.5 if that were possible. I found this site to be nearly perfect. And I love that people can revoke their animals to someone they can meet and trust before handing the animal off. This is a needed service! And helps prevent animals from ending up at the pound. My only criticism would be verification of the sellers. I ran into an issue trying to get a dog license for the dog I adopted through this site. The husband opened the account and is listed as the owner on the transfer documents, but according to license the owner is listed as his wife. Soooo, it was a little frustrating getting my dogs new license straightened out. That being said, I’m really glad that the local animal services department is thorough with making sure people are not selling stolen animals.

The questionnaire that pet owners fill out in finding a new home for their pet covers all the basic questions and gives potential adopters an excellent picture as to whether the pet would work for them.
