The overall customer service is great.. it was minor issues, which were addressed immediately. It was the issues in general.. I bought an almost brand new car.. There shouldn’t have been any issues.

Not enough cars. Process was easy though. 2 days later car was delivered promptly

Bought a car in September everything went smoothly it was a last minute buy so everything was pretty quick compared to a actual dealership. If you know about buying cars and what to look for and everything buying a car online shouldn’t be a problem but I’m not too familiar with it so I would rather go to a dealership. I did have some minor issues but Anthony and Robert helped me as much as possible to resolve it. I love my car it’s a big change for me coming from driving a 1999 car to a 2017. Thank you gettacar

Some of the issues would be common when using any on line car buying organization and are not solely specific to Get A Car. The car purchased was previously leased by a smoker or heavy vapor and the smell is strong in the interior. There is a tear in the upholstery that the pictures online did not show. There are scratches and dents that the pictures did not show including deep gouges on two wheels. The paperwork and delivery took so long that we almost canceled our purchase prior to the shipping. Communication, in my opinion could have been a bit better. We got caught up in finding a vehicle that was the exact make, with the exact motor, exterior color, and interior color, within our price range, with an acceptable amount of miles, that we were looking for. The original search showed the vehicle to be in Washington DC, not a hard drive from our home state. The vehicle was actually at a different named auto dealership in Philadelphia. The dealership in Philadelphia is branching out with a service to compete with Carvana. No one made me follow through and buy this vehicle but I will think long and hard before buying another vehicle online. There are issues that only an in person visit could discover regardless of the online description and accompanying pictures. I doubt we would have made the purchase if the vehicle was local. We have exhausted our seven day period of return while trying to remove the smoke smell. The price to pay to have the vehicle shipped back was also a factor in keeping the vehicle and trying to make the best of the situation. We had sold our old vehicle and needed the new vehicle for work, school, and soccer. We have a 90 day, 4500 mile warranty, so we will see how things go.

My husband purchased a car from them at the end of June. I loved the process and was thinking about getting a car from them as well. They provided temporary tags. A few days before the temporary tags expired, he had to call them and ask them about his hard plates. They came back and said that it was something preventing him from getting his tags. False! They use AAA. First of all, who uses that? Wouldn’t you verify with the state? We live in Maryland and he has nothing on his tags. We have another car and we just renewed those tags. Maryland will not allow you to renew tags if you have outstanding tickets or tax issues. My husband told them to send the information that he needs to register the car himself with the state. We still haven’t received anything. They will not reissue temporary tags so they have been expired for more than a week. On top of that, he paid for tags, taxes and title. Did the offer a refund? No! They turned me off as a potential customer. I’ll go to an actual dealer and purchase my next car.

I want to start off by saying i never leave reviews unless my experience was really good or really bad!! When the car was delivered it was completely dirty and smelled like cigarettes, they tried to cover up the scent by putting 3 gettacar air fresheners inside. There were food crumbs all over the front and back center consoles and stains all over the cloth on the interior roof. This was already a red flag to me as the guy i spoke to from gettacar explained that the car is detailed twice before they deliver it (car also did not come with a owners manual, they said they would have one delivered. it’s been about 3 weeks and still nothing). I almost backed out before we started the paper work because the whole process seemed sketchy to me. The guy reassured me that if i decided to follow through, i can still return the car within 7 days. We began the paperwork and the information on all of the documents were completely wrong. They sent us the “correct” papers in the mail 2 days later and it was still wrong. My dad had to write in the correct information, scan it and email it back to the guy so he’d fix it correctly. After the 3rd time we received the power work it was finally correct. The only reason i kept the car was because it was exactly what i had been looking for, the next day i took the car to get detailed and it was much better. Overall, i would have rather just gone to a car dealership. this process was supposed to be hassle free but caused me and my family an absurd amount of stress. I honestly wouldn’t recommend gettacar, you’re much better off sitting in a car dealership and seeing exactly what you’re getting. The only reason i’m giving this 3 stars is because the guy who delivered the car was very pleasant and genuine.

Car purchased was fantastic. Salesperson who handled my purchase was excellent. Things to improve upon: 1) Answer emails sent to Gettacar email. Mine were never answered, and I ended up calling to get service. 2) Post details of car warranty's online. I had to call and request they be sent. 3) Post correct details about vehicle. Posted information did not contain all features on car. I had to look up the VIN (posted online) on Toyota website to find out what this car came with.

Customer service is amazing. I was able to go back and forth with the sales rep and he had answers to all my questions. The process was easy. No complaints there. My opinion to make online car shopping better, take more pictures of the vehicle. The pictures on the website did not show the slight damages on the car. There is a BIG hole on the driver side floor and the person who delivered the car just told me to buy a car mat to cover it.(car mats was not included in the car) Also the car seats/interior was delivered to me dirty, I think the previous owners owned a dog and it was filthy and there still is a horrendous odor of tobacco and something else that I can’t get rid of, I’m still looking for something strong to mask the smell. So for sure they don’t clean the car before selling it. Also there was this waxy residue all over the dashboard. The car should be detailed before delivering it. It would make customers very happy. I’ll have to do the detailing but I shouldn’t have to. I like the car and I’m sticking with it but I might not do online shopping again for my next vehicle.
