This is a really cool concept for a toy, but unfortunately the toys don't actually seem to be shipping as scheduled. I ordered back in May and there have been several delays for shipping. I understand this is a new product. For me the real problem came when they were supposed to ship on October 15 and they didn't and there was no update. The website says new orders ship in 1-3 days but there's no real update on pre-orders. I cancelled my order yesterday. If this is a real toy, then maybe I'll revisit ordering it once the company has a history and better communication. This is a toy tied to an app that is interacting with children so trust in the company is very important.

I bought one July 5th 2026, I too, got the run around, end of July, then August then September. I think it’s a very elaborate scam. I paid on my CC . I emailed skybuds to cancel they told me their refund policy… basically they told me no via email… I called my bank.. told them the story and said it’s a scam… received my money back that day… then skybud emailed me and asked if I would reverse the charges from the bank and they would refund me… I just laughed… its sounds incredibly… almost to good to be true right? Sorry folks, I think its a scam… I don’t think you will ever see the toy… call your bank and get your money back… if by chance I’m wrong, which I hope I am… in 6 month to a year if they are actually being sent out… I may try again… good luck everyone

Pretty sure this is a scam. My daughter was so excited for this and the ship date kept getting pushed back now it says they'll be shipped October 15th and here it is the 21st of October and have heard nothing. My order is still on "Confirmed"

I preorder in July. They're advertising 1-3 days shipping for new orders, but I still don't even have tracking for mine. It's starting to feel like a scam. The status still says "confirmed" it hasn't even moved to prepared, let alone shipped. Always some story about what's happening and no one has received anything yet.

I placed a preorder for my two youngest sons for an Ash and a Pearl. They are coping with the loss of 3 family members. Both maternal grabdparents who passed from cancer and their father who passed unexpectedly, all within 9 months of each other. I don't want to cancel my order because I'm clinging to the hope this is a real product. However, like so many others I don't have our two buddies Ash and Pearl nor a tracking number. Customer service can't even tell me who their shipping provider is. I'll be the first to upload content on youtube and twitter to support this company if we ever so receive our buds. As it stands right now I urge you to please consider that I have not seen a single positive review from anyone in the preorders and now they are saying online new orders will ship in 1 to 3 days. That not landing right with me. Preorders are NOT BEING SHIPPED and new orders are being taken and supposedly being in 1 to 3 days????

I ordered mine September 28th, They said the 5th at first, and then the 5th turned into the 15th, it is now October 20th with no word of a new date or a shipping or tracking number, No carrier either i dont want to cancel bc my son was so excited about getting one but cmon wtf

I am thinking these other reviews are fake, because no one has received their toy yet. They take your money and then change the date for shipment every month. That's right, months. A LOT of people are rightfully worried that this is a scam. Recently I was told the toy would be shipped on the 15th and I would get a tracking number in 24 hours. Guess what. No tracking. So most likely, because this is predictable, they will have an excuse and give a date for Nov. However, similar has been done too many times and this time to say they are shipping now and tell us there will be a tracking number soon but there is none- there's no excuse that can not make this look fishy!

My autistic son Frederik has had a blast using this thus far!! He's really only made noises when communicating, but has started expressing himself more coherently after a week with his SkyBud. Highly recommended!!
