Hi Kirk, Thank you so much for sharing your experience and feedback. RentCheck's mission is to make the renting experience fair and transparent by removing bias from the inspection process. Renter experience is as important to our team as property managers'. To ensure photos taken during an inspection are current, RentCheck geotags and timestamps the files. That way the inspection is properly timestamped, and can’t be doctored in any way. This also helps with keeping the final report consistent and organized. I confirmed with our development team that our mobile app doesn’t request or use location beyond the geotagging we get from the pictures themselves, which will match with the inspection address. We are not using any additional geolocation data from the mobile app. Inspections are available to view by your property management company and owners of the property. While our Help Center is full of articles, they might not answer all your questions. We have a dedicated support chat for residents and property managers to assist in real-time with inspections. Our intended resident experience is for time spent in RentCheck to be productive and beneficial to both renters and property managers. Please let me know if you have any questions about all this!
