Horrible experience. We booked a car, and it turned out the the car is not available, after we already paid the deposit. Instead of finding us a different option for free, they wanted us to book a different car, which would’ve costed even more, which we would’ve needed to pay. Horrible customer service too. Never again. Be careful of this company!

I booked a car in Dalaman, Türkiye through GetRentacar. After paying the 15% prepayment, I was informed that the original supplier could not provide the vehicle because it was unavailable. GetRentacar offered a replacement rental and told me it would be on the same conditions as my original booking. However, that was not the case. My original booking included full CASCO insurance and hotel delivery. The replacement supplier charged me an extra €245 for insurance and refused to deliver the car, requiring me to travel to their office instead. At the end of the rental, I also received a speeding ticket. The rental company charged me the full amount and claimed that the early-payment discount available in Türkiye does not apply to camera-issued fines, but provided no evidence for this. My disappointment is not with the car itself, but with the fact that the replacement booking did not match the conditions I originally paid for. If a replacement is advertised as equivalent, customers should receive the same services and coverage. Getrentacar takes zero responsibility and refuses to take measures.

They tried to make me book a car in Vietnam in total illegality, which could have put myself and my family at huge risk in case of accident or police control. I wanted to book a car in Vietnam with their service. Everything went well until they contacted me to warn me that an international driving permit from the 1968 convention of Vienna is required. mine is unfortunately the 1949 version delivered in Hong Kong. Instead of cancelling immediately my booking, as I requested, they redirected me to another “car owner” in Vietnam willing to accept my permit. However, after checking every article about the requirements in Vietnam, it appears that it is simply illegal to self drive with a 1949 IDP and the 1968 is MANDATORY. As of now, I lost the booking fees despite I requested the cancellation, and they also tried to rent a car to me illegally, putting my family and I at huge risk.

If you are a client you maybe lucky to get a driver/car making the first services and you will be ok, but if you get older ones that aren’t receiving you’ll find yourself without the money and without the service. You can ask for refund and they will answer, but the money will not return to you. If you are a service provider you are going to receive maybe 50%, is the carrot to keep you going, but the debt to you will rise until they brake you. So, clients and services providers be aware, consider yourselves warned.

Взяли с меня предоплату за якобы забронированный авто. По приезду в прокатную контору сказали, что брони на моё имя не было никогда. На просьбу вернут предоплату сначала неделю динамили, а потом ответили отказом.

Отменил бронь, взяли 9000руб за отмену(18%).хотя отмена должна быть бесплатной
