Signed up for the 3 month trial subscription. Canceled it 48 hrs before the renewal date, but was charged $74.99 TWO DAYS before the expiration of the trial. When I emailed the company, they said they'd "look into it", that the billing was "automated" and suddenly changed the subscription time frame in an attempt to make themselves right. Refused a refund and now I'm disputing the charges with my bank and filing with the Better Business Bureau STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are a complete scam.

I was tempted to try out this product so I signed up for the 1 month service. Everything worked fine, clicking the link in the welcome email took me to a host of stories, the first of which was very good. However the other six I listened to were not so good so I decided to call it a day as £30 per month seemed a bit excessive. I filled out their online cancellation form refusing discounted and free offers and confirming cancellation. Next I knew another month's charge appeared which promted my email to their customer service explaining the problem. They confirmed cancellation and that I would not be charged again - two days later the charge went through and they have now refused to refund. So, in hindsight the service is not for me but it may be right for you - remember though if you want to cancel don't rely on their online process it didn't work for me and get a confirmation email from their Customer Service or get charged again! Just a quick follow-up and I'm pleased to say a full refund was issued so I'm pleased to uprate my earlier poor score.

Nobody knows I have this and I plan to keep it that way. But if anyone reading this is on the fence - just try it. You'll understand after the first story.

If I could leave no stars I would. I signed up to trial the app on the 25th may, decided it wasn't for me and cancelled the subscription straight away. On the 24th June I got a notification from my bank stating that whisper stories had taken $39.99USD from my bank. The app had renewed my subscription without my consent even though I cancelled it on the day of initially signing up and deleted the app from my phone. I contacted whisper customer service who keep giving me generic responses and refuse to acknowledge the fact that they're in the wrong and need to issue me a refund. Rest assured, if I do not see the refund in my bank account within the week, I will be speaking with a solicitor as it seems I'm not the only person this company has stolen money from.

Misleading and inaccurate information. They advertise a 30 day money back guarantee if not satisfied and then do not honour this. The app is also not as advertised.

After I cancelled my subscription they still are debiting my bank account. I am truly disgusted with this company. I have told everyone I know not to use this "service" because there is none. They are scammers.

Did not like this experience at all. Attempted to cancel subscription and its still current. Have emailed them and no reply. No I dont recommend them at all. Going to get my bank involved now. Disgusting company...
