I signed up for the free trial once. Their system created three separate trial subscriptions within 91 seconds (I got three welcome emails, and my invoice history shows three trials). I cancelled 20 minutes later and received Stripe’s confirmation saying I wouldn’t be charged again, plus an email from their team acknowledging I “signed up and canceled inside the same day.” The cancellation only covered one of the three subscriptions. The other two kept charging my card USD 29 each, twice a month, for three months: USD 174 total. I only found out from my bank statements. Their support chat doesn’t work. If you try GetHookd, check your billing page after cancelling and make sure there are zero active subscriptions. I’ve requested a full refund and disputed the charges with my bank.

This company is the biggest scam. I canceled my subscription and they still charged me. I opened a dispute with my bank and Gethookd finally offered to give me a refund in exchange for withdrawing the dispute. I contacted my bank and withdrew the dispute, however now Gethookd is saying that, because the bank sided with them, they will not issue a refund. They have been telling me via email they will refund me for months, and now are not honoring their promise. I will be posting to my several hundred thousand followers on social media about what a scam this company is.
