HarvestReviews of getharvest.com

The best piece of time tracking software I have ever used and then it was sold. $4700 usd per year to $29,700 USD is unethical and ruthless. One very loyal customer now looking for new time tracking software and no longer recommending Harvest to all their friends and fellow business owners. Disgusted.

Brutal. They are charging me $23k instead of $2k last year for the same service without a formal notification. This is for a tiny nonprofit just using time tracking software. . Totally unethical.

After more than 10 years as a Harvest customer, we can’t move away from Harvest Time Tracking fast enough. Their abrupt and outrageous price increase is simply indefensible. What once cost us $99/month for a team of 10 is now more than $700/month, a staggering increase for essentially the same service we’ve relied on for years. What makes it even worse is the complete lack of customer support around the change. I specifically asked to speak with a Harvest representative about the increase and was told that wasn’t possible. I can’t imagine how Harvest expects longtime small-business customers to absorb an increase of this magnitude. We certainly won’t. We’re leaving, and we can’t leave fast enough.

I wish I could give this zero stars. I have used Harvest for over 10 years and was a huge fan of the software, but now that it's been acquired by Bending Spoons, they seem intent on running it into the ground with their insane price increases. Their pricing page continues to be incredibly misleading, with only vague language about the additional "use based" pricing that will actually quadruple (or more) what you'll actually pay. I cannot imagine what they are trying to accomplish with this. Losing the entire Harvest customer base? It's so unfortunate because I've been a pretty big evangelist for this software since I started using it, and have encouraged 2 different agencies I've worked for to switch to Harvest. I'll now be canceling it immediately. I certainly hope Bending Spoons flames out spectacularly...and quickly.

SUper happy for more than 10 years, price went up more than 10x over night, absolutely outrageous. Terminated.

I used Harvest for over 10 years. Their recent, frankly insane price increase finally forced my hand to look elsewhere. But instead of finding another subscription to replace it, I decided to see what was possible with Claude and build my own customised timesheet and quoting system. And here's the interesting part. All those features I spent years asking Harvest to include? The features I was repeatedly told weren't possible, or weren't on the roadmap? Well, guess what. I now have them. A system built around the way I actually work, with the features I actually need — without paying for a bloated platform and waiting years for someone else to decide whether my requests are worth implementing. So, thank you, Harvest. Your ridiculous price increase forced me to finally do something I should have done years ago: build my own solution. Sometimes being pushed too far is exactly the motivation you need.

Would give it zero starts if I could. Horrendous price increase after adding an entire secondary pricing tier that didn't exist previously. Will be cancelling immediately before they go charging me.

Like many others, I am complaining about the predatory pricing strategy adopted under the new Bending Spoons ownership. I am being asked to pay over 10x my existing price for the same product. I am looking at migrating to Minute Dock.
