Worst Experience with VacationVip.com – Fake Promises, Misleading Ads, and Zero Service
I had an absolutely terrible experience with VacationVip.com. Their false advertisements and deceptive promises ruined what was supposed to be a special surprise for my 6-year-old son’s birthday month. I came across an ad from VacationVip promoting a 4-day/3-night stay at Westgate Resorts Villas in Orlando for just $99, claiming amenities like: ✅ Close proximity to Disney ✅ 14 heated pools & hot tubs ✅ Poolside bars & gourmet dining options ✅ Hershey's Ice Cream Shop & Starbucks ✅ Pirate Water Park & Mini Golf ✅ Onsite movie theater, paddle boat rentals, and more Excited about the offer, I booked blindly, trusting their commitment. I hyped up the trip for my son for 20 days, only to be met with a nightmare. The Deception Begins After payment, there was no confirmation email—just a message stating they would call to confirm the dates. 24-36 hours later, I finally got a call, where they asked endless personal questions. At the end, they said another company, BlueGreen Hotels, would contact me for final confirmation. The next day, BlueGreen called, grilled me for 2 hours, asked for sensitive details like DOB, address, credit card limits, and annual salary, then had me agree to "reservation changes." I assumed this just meant a different room at the same promised resort. Still no confirmation email or room details—only a vague check-in location at BlueGreen Resorts. The Reality – A Complete Scam Upon arriving at the check-in location: I was charged $39 in taxes before even knowing where I was staying. They handed me a piece of paper with an address (no room number, no key). The provided address was 35 minutes away, and upon arrival, it was just a basic hotel room—NOT a villa, NOT a resort. Why This Was Devastating for My Family I have a cancer patient in my family and a small child who cannot eat outside food due to dietary restrictions. Expecting a villa, I had brought groceries to prepare meals. Instead, we were stuck in a tiny hotel room without a kitchen, completely ruining our plans. This experience crushed me. I wanted to give my son a beautiful birthday memory, surrounded by nature, in a place where he could play freely. VacationVip.com stole that from us. 🚨 Avoid this company at all costs. Their so-called "deals" are a bait-and-switch scam that preys on families looking for an affordable getaway. I don’t want anyone else to go through what we did. DO NOT BOOK WITH VACATIONVIP.COM.
