Gerber systems architecture and how they do business is archaic & horribly misleading! Wish I had used any other professional insurance company. They make it VERY DIFFICULT to update anything & are all about give us $ and never really plan to have to pay out claims. GERBER sucks!!!

Reporting Gerber agent to DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE AND BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU . I WAS LIED TO BY AGENT. WHEN I ASKED WAS THERE A 2 YEAR WAITING PERIOD AND HE TOLD ME NO. TOLD HIM I WAS IN HOSPITAL IN MARCH , JUST HAD A TRIPLE BYPASS SURGERY. HE JUST WANTED ME TO HURRY AND ACCEPT THE INSURANCE POLICY. LIKE A FOOL I TRUSTED HIM AND DIDNT WANT TO NOT HAVE INSURANCE. A month AGO spoke to a different instructor SEPT. I spoke to a different Co and was told Gerber does have a 2 year waiting period. I spoke to a gerber representative about 2 weeks ago and I told her what the insurance agent told me while I was on my hospital death bed after a triple bypass that there was no waiting period so I told her I wanted to cancel because I first I was calling because my son's couldn't find the policy that was mailed while I was in the hospital and wanted to go over it so upon receiving the letter she said she was sending me in 2 weeks and yellow envelope I sent it back I wanted to find out when can I expect my refund and can I put it back into my account so then I read that they don't have to pay me and that's how I found out that I can report the agency Gerber because he lied to me to get my policy to get me to sign and that's just what I'm going to do. Your website is difficult to get into. It never retains my password and they have to be reset. I had to verify emails and phone numbers I have only had the same ones for 18 Years. I wish I had bought these polices with another insurer.

My gerber life insurance company 'experience' is involving me in crime. Plain to be seen in the general public of the state that i'm currently a resident of. Does Gerber Life Insurance Company have a lawsuit in which consumers who have held other insurances might be able to complain and receive under? As i've now been a verified victim of identity theft, i'm certain some form of clearance and the dissolving of monies and losses created from this would grant my receiving a proper notification as to how assets that would belong to my future children in the form of holdings have been stolen from me, as well as the refusal to return to me payment for college entrance exam scores that are individual in form and guidance. I’ve been paying $27 dollars a month for 4 years but the cash value was only at $80 dollars so I decided to cancel because how does that make sense ,but in order to do that you have to mail in the cancellation paper with a copy of your ID 🙄 how is it that I can start a policy online without mailing anything but can’t cancel it the same way ANNOYING!

This company is horrible I've had nothing but bad interactions with them. I bought two policies for my twin granddaughters 6 yrs ago, they then sent me a letter to upgrade 2026 to $10,000 each when im fact the opened 2 more for a total of 4 When I noticed this two months later I called to cancel, instead of canceling the new policies like I requested they canceled the ones I started in 2020! Their is no cash value to this grow up plan. Just get a real policy or add your loved ones as beneficiaries to yours.

I cannot sign into my account because a code is being sent to an old phone number. Tried calling but no one answers and the auto system cannot help. No one answers the emails until days later. I cannot get into my account to pay the bills due. I am sick and tired of trying to reach someone at Gerber. I'm thinking about just canceling the policies. It's not worth the time and effort to get through to them.
