Their system froze where I could not see my chart could not exit my trade nor see what was going on in that time frame Results blew my account and they don’t want to do anything about it. Gotta find a new platform and broker

I constantly I have to tell them to update my account because my balance is different from my TradeLocker account, I have to tell them I can’t withdraw my money because it doesn’t even show the account where is my balance at they are very frustrating be careful

I have to say that GatesFX Help Desk reply’s very fast and does try to help in the traders questions and problems. But there is a glitch in the security using TradeLocker platform. In having changed /updated the password for your Live account does not mean that your account is secured! In exercising the above after I changed my password on my live account the account was still open to the old password and someone was able to get into the account and trade loosing the entire $6,000 balance. In many many conversations with GatesFX, they will not admit that there was a breach. So be aware if you change your password that does not mean that your account is safe and be ready for GatesFX to look the other way . They also forgot to adjust for the USA time change. If you held a Friday trade until Sunday open you could not close it until 7:00pm eastern for Xauusd….. and 6:00 PM for others. So market was open and running but no opening or closing existing trades.

Worst ever. 100% scam. Use a site with thousands off reviews to be safe. I deposited and my trade was liquidated when it didn't move at all. Bad service

I will admit I made my mistakes as a trader but I experienced something that made me realize the platform is rigged I have screen shots and proof anyone can message me I will provide them.My buy limit orders don't get hit only when its going to be unprofitable or against me hmm odd, im not impressed at all when losses happen they happen, when im wrong ill admit it and move on but when ive done things correctly and still wrong because a issue on their part, well now that isn't fair at all traders. please be careful with this broker, I have proof of everything, I will report this to whom has the power to make sure other traders aren't going threw this experience, Things should be moderately fair not manipulated for their benefit. The reply given is absolutely invalid from gates fx I have proof for anyone interested to know the truth

Hello Charles! We are sad to see your review but wanted to add additional context so we can find a way to continue our relationship. After reviewing your account, we noticed that you have only traded on demo accounts and never deposited or trade live funds with our firm. Upon reviewing the your 5 demo accounts, we noticed that all of them have taken significant loss and even some of them negative balance. So our team dove a bit deeper into the trading history on each account and review the logs from the trading terminal. After reviewing both we noticed every trade you have taken has been significantly over leveraged and appears to be a Martingale strategy ( opening larger sell positions as price continues to push up hoping it comes down & opening larger sell positions and price continues to push down hoping it comes up ). We did cross reference the trading terminal logs during your trade times and we do see the rejected sell and buy limit orders. Each of the rejected orders are *not enough margin* in the log comment. This occurs when the current positions open + the amount of drawdown exceeds the available margin required to open the new position. While generally Martingale strategies are not profitable, if you do plan to continue using this strategy, we highly recommend starting your first order with a much smaller lot size than 20 lots on XAU so that by your 4th or 5th Martingale position you open as price continues to push against you, there is sufficient margin to allow you to open a new position with a larger lot size. If you start with too large of a lot size then each additional position you open uses more margin because you are opening even larger positions to try and negate the previous positions loss if price moves in your favor. We are sad you had an unpleasant experience with margin requirements with your strategy on our demo accounts but we would love to continue serving you throughout your trading journey. Hello Juan! If you could kindly respond to my request from your trustpilot dashboard so that I can obtain your account information to look your account up in our dashboard that would be a huge help since there is no GatesFX account with your name or email. I would like to also inform you that our firm is not able to "trade against" our traders. Many undisciplined traders blame their broker without understanding how broker systems actually work. I will break down how systems work so you can see that it isn't possible for us to "trade against you" and ""manipulate the charts". When you deposit, your funds are credited to our margin account which will cover any live trading activity you execute. Our margin account is connected to our liquidity aggregation hub that is connected to over 200 liquidity providers so you get the lowest spreads and best pricing fees due to the competition between the various liquidity providers wanting to earn our business. These price feeds come directly from our liquidity providers and the price feed is connected via APi to your trading terminal (MT5 or TradeLocker). We have no way to "manipulate" price feeds that don't even come from GatesFX. There is nothing between liquidity pricing and your trade terminal. Any price action you see on the chart is actual price movement for the instrument you have on your chart. Very large firms like exness or vantage do own their own liquidity providers that they can control the price feed to "manipulate price" and "trade against their traders" but there are two reasons why this isn't possible for us. 1. The minimum required to start a liquidity provider is $500 Million. Our firm has not scaled to that revenue mark. 2. This violates our entire moral value structure that our firm was built on. We built GatesFX to stand out from the big firms that do stuff like this so our traders have a safe place to trade with consistent trading conditions they can rely on so they can focus on what matters: their trading.
