Our recent tour, 15 Day Kaleidoscope of Greece was absolutely incredible! People have asked what did you like best and I can’t answer because everyday was even more exciting than the day before! Our Tour Manager, Rania, was excellent! Rania was so knowledgeable about everything and at the same time, created a fun, family like environment for everyone in our group. We toured Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and so much more, but what I will always remember is the kindness and pride in her country that Rania shared with us. Gate 1 tours are fabulous! (And the food was great too!)

Our trip was even better than I could have imagined. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable along with being both kind and respectful. Accommodations varied from 5 star hotels to smaller camps which fit in perfectly, considering we were in the middle of National parks in both Tanzania and Kenya. I would highly recommend Gate One.

Derek did a great job as a tour leader. Personally went out of his way to make sure my wife had a visit to a doctor in a small town. Hotels were excellent. Small group tour is what I will be looking at in the future. The size is just right. My wife and I enjoyed every stop we made and thought that the planning was well done. The surprising little "side trips" were a hit with the group. Thanks Derek

Our guide, Erdal, made our trip memorable. He was able to share the history of each place we visited and share perspectives we would not have without someone with the breadth of knowledge he has. Each stop was wonderful. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to understand Turkey.

We had a great experience. Visited the places we were anxious to see. The coordinator was excellent

Tour Manager Evaluation Peter was an outstanding tour manager throughout our 15-day tour. His knowledge at every destination and stop was truly impressive, and he consistently shared information in a way that was both interesting and engaging. It was clear from the very beginning that he genuinely loves his job, and his enthusiasm enhanced the entire experience for our group. Peter was always well-prepared, organized, and attentive to the needs of all travelers. He anticipated questions, kept the tour running smoothly, and made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. One of the highlights was the tour song he created for our group. It was a thoughtful and creative touch that brought everyone together and made our trip even more memorable. Peter's professionalism, dedication, and positive attitude made this an exceptional travel experience. He went above and beyond in every aspect of his role, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a future tour. He did an excellent job, and we were fortunate to have him as our tour manager. Rating: Excellent (10/10) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have done 20 trips with Gate 1 Travel and have never had a bad experience. The company offers good value for the money and most trips are set up for people who want to actively see and experience the sights and culture of the countries they are visiting. It seems some of the bad reviews are coming from people wanting Gate 1 to violate the terms of the travel agreement. Gate 1 offers CFAR (cancel for any reason) & medical insurance so purchase it if you think there may be any issues. All of my trips have run smoothly and I have never had to work with customer service on anything.

As always , the trip is organized well . The tour Director makes it or breaks it , we were so lucky to have Belinda, she is Par excellence , so fun and detailed , makes the day to day easier to navigate. Next trip will be in Gate 1 again for sure .
