Overpriced, poor quality, bad customer service
I purchased a garage door tension spring from Garage Door Nation for $90, only to discover it was a low-cycle spring (short lifespan, low quality). The professional technician I hired refused to install it, saying he wouldn’t use such a spring and wouldn’t even take it for free because he would just throw it away. For comparison, the technician sourced a high-cycle spring of much better quality for about $60 — meaning Garage Door Nation charged me more for an inferior product. When I tried to return the spring, my request sat “under review” for nearly a month with no response. After I followed up, they quickly sent me a rejection notice with no explanation. This company sold me overpriced, poor-quality equipment and then refused to stand behind their product. I would strongly recommend avoiding Garage Door Nation, especially if you are not familiar with garage door parts — you’ll get better quality and service elsewhere.
