These articles read as if they were spat out of Chat GPT and not even edited. I suppose that's why they are so erroneous. I understand that most online content sites are already doing that to cut costs. Obviously, no one here trusts anything posted on Game Rant. If they can provide proof that my suspicions are valid, I would really like to see it. Based on my own experience testing out AI (Windows makes it easy to try that out, btw) I can tell the difference between generated content and actual human writing. Also, I have a Masters degree in creative writing, so I prefer to avoid using such tools other than to see how janky the output is.

Attempted to use the site for GTAV info and it was mostly wrong. I kept noticing it across other games and had to come and see if they were truly as bad as they appear and it appears they are 🤣🤣

Gamerant, Screenrant and the like are just filled to the brim with heavily search engine optimized "articles" where keywords and filler paragraphs make finding the answer or kernel of useful information a real struggle, if it even exists. Don't be surprised if you land on their site looking for a specific answer, read the question you have in the title, the introduction and then trudge through hundreds if not thousands of words to only find out they don't even have the answer to the question in the first place. Pure and utter trash, I wish I could blacklist it so every single googling isn't muddled by these articles making finding anything of value that much harder to find.

Absolute trash content from another content mill. Gamersnt, along with all the other website under its corporate umbrella is more concerned with keyword stuff half baked blog posts than writing anything of actual quality. Routinely, their articles are littered with typos, have inaccurate information, are very poorly written, and overstuffed with an obscene amount of ads. All content is click bait to the point where I've seen the same headline dozens of times, with just one keyword swapped out. Try it for yourself. Google "Between a rock and a hard place gamerant" and you'll find more than a dozen articles with the exact same headline. The reason for this is because they are a content mill. This means they don't have any actual staff writers who find and research interesting stories. Instead, they give "freelancers" a login to their website and hand people submit whatever they want. If gamerant publishes it, then the writer gets a couple of bucks. That means these writers are playing a numbers game. Crap out as many articles are you possibly can and hope to make a part time living. Garbage in. Garbage out.

A garbage website full of AI-generated nonsense articles. I wish it didn't always appear right near the top of my Google searches.

They called something that was already in the game a "leak". Barely gives the needed information and spouts basic knowledge about the game when it's supposed to be new info about he topic.
