Not recommend it. Keep away. Don't even register as it is a pain in the neck to cancel registration. It is a weird fanatical christian thing. Trying to cancel account, never get password reset email.

I've been a member since June-2019. It's too USA-centric (especially regarding politics). Unfortunately, there's a lot of silly conspiracy stuff. Also, there's too much religious stuff.

And before they moan that everything is called 'far-right', they could do some basic research on dated far-right beliefs. Obviously they won't, despite living the hardcore lifestyle (online of course.) Too many people with the (((J))) obsession. Even if they believe in it... talk about other things too! But they can't because they're mentally ill. Any truth they do say is ruined by the 99% of absolute crap they also post, so well done. The propaganda and fake media is ridiculous, yet they 'hate fake news'. It's full of edgelords with low T man issues larping as nationalistic knights. It's claims free speech but you will be silenced for dissent (which is often just rational thought.) There are some non toxic communities, but why go here for gardening tips? Maybe moustache man was a keen gardener - I don't know! It's also got some weird Christian thing going on. the loving Christians on Gab who hate on everyone non-Christian. It's not the Christianity I'm used to. Where I live Christians are nice, but let's just adopt an extreme American mentality cuz... based? Trad? So much cope on Gab (as with the far-left.) This post will probably make me controlled op or something.

Piece of crap system. If you are going to boast you are going to take on your competition and change the system, then have something that works better than the competition. I have tried to do some simple listings in the Gab marketplace. Unless, you do everything perfectly the first time your listing with mistakes become permanent. It will not let you edit or delete. I tried to get help but all they do is try to send you to their generic, basic FAQs page which does not even address your problem. I tried their chat messenger twice but there has been no response for days. I guess they cant be bothered to deal with people. I kind of suspect you have to subscribe financially to their GabPro to get the basic services you think your getting with the free account.

i am disappointed in what trash Andrew Torba and his gab has become. i feel betrayed by Andrew Torba who shouted loudly that "gab is free speech channel" - IT ISN'T!!! from looking as free speech channel back in 2016 to be a globalist satanist new world order sewage censoring thoughts and texts in 2022. as i said i feel betrayed and i terminated my account with gab!

Works very bad, a lot of spam, nothing to do there except listening how right-wingers making up more and more non-sense that has nothing to do with reality

I have been on Gab since 2018. I have hit a limit of around 2k followers and have been unable to build up probably because i have a free account. I have almost sixty thousand Gab posts at this point. It has been broken, slow, and disappointing. I still use it to share my views on current events, but the platform to me is nothing more than an echo chamber. I have had an unresolved and reoccuring issue with a certain group who I cannot block or join and I cannot in any way stop them from appearing in my feed while they can post what they want I cannot reply, block or interact. Thats not free speech. Customer service to me has been crickets.
