I personally found this was the most realistic backtesting sim you can come across. All the visual stats were a big bonus too.

I purchased this to backtest some scalping strategies. I trade on the m3 and m1, and it is completely unusable. There is no liquidity/volume, the wicks are off, and the chart is not reflective of live data feeds. They are using feeds from "dukascopy", maybe they should change the data provider and it will be usable on the low time frame. I used high volume pairs like xau, eurusd, and gbpusd. It is untradable under the M5 timeframe. Disappointed.

Hey Ryan, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with us. We actually pride ourselves on the ability to trade down on the lowest timeframes for day traders to test. I'm curious as to what you mean with the wicks are off? Forex / CFDs are a decentralized markets so volumes on different brokers will always vary slightly (hence why you may see slight differences in data feed). That being said, that doesn't mean our data feeds are "wrong" or not reflective of live feeds. If you have examples where that proves wrong, I'd love to explore it more and improve the experience for you! Also, we do allow for volume so you should be able to access that :) If you do want to reach out and let us know, please message us at [email protected]! We'd love to hear about how we can improve and make your experience better. Apologies you didn't have a great experience though, Ryan. PS: We are bringing on new data feeds soon!

my experience with fox replay was incredible. It has an amazing data history. That was what I liked the most and also that it has very useful tools and indicators similar to those of TradingView not to mention the fluidity. The only thing I would like them to add is that you could go back in the graph without having to do everything again. Long story short a great experience.

I didn’t really know what backtesting was when I first found out about FX Replay but once I learned what it was I knew I had to do it. After a month with this system my trading has gotten 100 times better, I’m able to get years of experience on the charts in a week. If you have a strategy you want to test but don’t want to spend weeks trading it on demo, try FX Replay, the possibilities are endless.

It is a great tool. Having to practise with the historical data which is quite long is nice to have. After about a month backtesting with this tool started seeing my mistakes. I can't say I am extremely profitable at the moment but I see the light. I have stopped making the mistakes that I have been making for a long time. In a few month's time, I am pretty sure things will be so much better. Definitely recommend it!
