They over-promise and are dishonest- we asked for a particular tracing of products all the way from shelf to source, and they confirmed in writing they would provide that. So, we were willing to spend $6,000. However could not deliver and did not provide explanation as to why. We are a US based company, and thought we were hiring FMI UK. It turns out the entire team is based in India, so there is a language barrier that makes communications difficult in meetings. They required payment before we received the report, which I should have seen as a red flag. I very much regret the money we spent on this company. You can have clearer results from doing your own research. These are not experts in the market, they are just using AI to aggregate data in a way that is very difficult, if not impossible, to interpret.

I am based in India and I bought a India specific report on e-commerce. The experience I had was that whatever was communicated in the scope of the report was covered, up to 90%. When I pointed out that still 10% of scope needs to be provided as a final report, it was provided on time. I also received a complimentary update to the report after 6 months. But after reviewing the information sent by the company, I realised that the researchers do not have the right knowledge in the industry, and all the data provided are all based on their desktop research and are incomplete. Harish Tiwari, the Director of Sales will just brush off your inquires by saying that they had already provided the data that they have which obviously is very limited and not even complete. Due to lack of industry knowledge, the team is also unable to justify how they perform the data projection in 2023 to 2025.
