The social media trap
I have already left a review on the UK fuzzy funny trust pilot page, but it seems like most people leave them here so thought I would share my experience, if not at least to balance out the fake 5star reviews that get left by people who have never left a review before. I fell into the social media trap of seeing wonderful products, UK based company and needed a new dog bed for long journeys in the car. So I placed an order for just under £150 for a premium car bed. As I was going away in a few days I wrote to fuzzy funny customer services to see if I could pay extra for faster delivery, and they did actually reply pretty fast to say it should be with me soon, this is when I realised they weren’t UK based and in fact my product was coming from China! This is when I checked the reviews ans realised I had been duped, I’m usually pretty good at checking reviews first but for some reason this time it slipped through the net. Fast forward almost 2 weeks later when the postman delivered a squashed yellow plastic bag tube of what appeared to be a dog bed, however it didn’t match the pictures on the website, it came in several different pieces and no instructions of what goes where… you’d think it would be simple right? But it wasn’t! The pillows / stuffing was so flimsy, akin to something you’d get at a bargain store. The materiel didn’t look like it would hold up to the smallest of dogs, let alone a 32kg golden retriever, and to top it off the zips didn’t work properly either, it was nothing but cheap tat. I checked the website and saw I was in the 14 day refund policy so wrote to them (you can’t call, because they’re based in China!) and asked for a refund and an address to send the product back to, I got one reply saying to let the bed fluff up over 24hours as it had been vacuum packed, but that wasn’t the issue. The issue was the substandard build quality and poor workmanship of the product. Following my reply stating this I was promptly ignored by fuzzy funny. Luckily for me, I had paid by PayPal and opened a dispute. I then when on a campaign to highlight how shocking Fuzzyfunny were on their social media channels to show the product I had received compared to what was advertised and also posted links to the trustpilot to show their score of 2.4 - poor. This was met with me being banned by fuzzy fuzzy and blocked from their social media channels! After some weeks PayPal found in my favour and I was reluctantly given a refund, and was asked to post the bed back to some random persons house in Sheffield (ironically the surname of the person who received the item had the same surname as their own positive review on google!) I would not recommend this company, and will carry on doing all I can do to warn people of them, they are operating a scam with substandard products and fake reviews, I’m hoping the by warning at least a few other people I have cost them some customers at least. Do not buy from here! Update - I love reading the fake reviews from Fuzzyfunny on here to try and balance out the negative ones! You can so tell they’re written and translated through an app, who says things like that!
