Only investment I have lost money on in the past 4 years.

Fundrise.com touts annualized returns of between 5% and 23%. I would like to see who is making that as my portfolio is DOWN ~9%. People ask if it’s a scam? Certainly looks like that to me.

There is no use in waiting for greater loss given my experience here. My profile photo is currently on the winning team!

Nothing but losses since we started. You really don’t get any service outside of a computer screen and they force you to check off agreements to get your return submitted. So, the agreements are we only hand out money 3x a year, you won’t legally come after us if your unhappy, you accept the idea of receiving whatever dollar amount back that we decide to give you of your own money. Ohh and while you wait months for us to return you money any profit made during that time is also ours to keep. Not sure how any of this legal and I highly recommend a class action attorney go after them. The attorney will find a gold mine for his or herself. We started about 4 years ago.

Stay away from companies like Fundrise. They pay people on social media to do positive reviews. People running Fundrise get cake, and people who invest in Fundrise get the table scraps. REITS are much better than Fundrise.

This company makes it very easy to set up and move your funds into their company. Next, pick your method of inventing. But try to get your funds out. This is where the hurdles begin. I submitted my request for liquidation in the early part of June. It is now August 30th to find the funds sitting in an account with Millennium Trust Company. Who now requires several states to return the funds to my original account. And a $100 fee to close the account. If you made money with Fundrise, that is good news, but if you lost money with Fundrise, I am sure you will feel quite disgruntled with them. For me, they have lost a customer.

I invested $5k last fall with Fundrise after reading and watching the amazing reviews online. Boy was I wrong. Within several weeks of investing I checked my account and it was down $500. I thought that this was just a temporary downturn. However over the next 7 month I made $13 in interest. Amazing right? At the beginning of July my account dropped another $100. By now I’ve had enough of this scam. I asked for a withdrawal and was told that the earliest review is October. Even then I might not get my money back. Avoid this scam at all cost. Invest elsewhere!
