I am starting out as a videographer, and was looking for a decent source to get some profound filmmaking knowledge collected and structured in one space, rather than browsing through YouTube. The starter course was just a pretaste for the fulltime membership for me, which I am planning to invest in next.
For a beginner, it helps to even SEE THE SCOPE of what I should work on, and where to dive deeper.

Best Film Maker Course!
I am very impressed with the full time film maker starter course. I didn't know anything about videography before, but I know enough to get started. Thanks.

Full time filmmaker > college classes.
I wish I found full time filmmakers back when I first started college. The starter pack taught me just as much if not more than my college classes. I’ve been watching the YouTube channel and been engaged/interested to invest into their course and In my opinion, it’s a good refresher and worth the money before buying the full course.

Great Course!
This course is honestly detailed and structured in a helpful way. I’ve learned a good amount from YouTube but it’s hard to remember when there is no structure for learning. Would definitely recommend!

Non-Profit Game Changer
I’ve been watching Parker’s YouTube channel for the past couple of years and have learned so much from his videos. I made videos in the past for fun (friends weddings, YouTube, and a couple of training videos) but never went to school for film or videography.
About 6 months ago I got a new job working for a medium size non-profit organization as a communications specialist and among other things, have been given the opportunity to make 1 video per month (client testimonies, stories, etc.).
One difficult part about working for a non-profit (foster care and adoption), is that our budget is quite limited and the camera and equipment we have is out of date and don’t have a lot to work with. Since I work for a foster care/adoption agency, it is so important to share the stories of the children and families we support in a way that connects with others. My challenge has been creating quality videos with the limited tools I’ve been given and without formal training.
I’ve been looking at buying the premium full time filmmaker membership, but it was a little out of range for my budget.
When I saw that there was a starter course for less than $30 dollars I was so excited and bought it right away.
The videos are a great length (not too short, not too long) and I am learning so much from working through the course.
The course includes videos on camera settings, lighting, editing, how to get better shots, and more!
Looking back on the videos I created before the course and comparing them to videos I am making now, I can see a real difference and my team has noticed the improvement in quality too.
The biggest change I’ve seen is the amount of time it takes me to plan, film, and edit videos. Through things I’ve learned in the course, I have a sense of direction and feel like I know what I am doing now and it has made all the difference.

Very valuable
I purchased the FTF starter course and really enjoyed it! I don't consider myself a total beginner but wanted to test out FTF's style of training for more advanced content. Sometimes for this type of training, the Youtube videos are of good quality but when you enter the training platform, the content is less well done. I can confirm that this is not the case with FTF. If you like the channel, you'll like the training platform. I also received the Youtube Mastery workshop from the 5daydeal video bundle. Not finished this one yet, but so far very valuable content. You got a hook on me FTM, now I'm seriously considering investing in a premium subscription.

I absolutely love FTF
I absolutely love FTF I have learned so much in the short amount of time I honestly can't believe it. The information is easy to digest and comprehend, I deal with ADHD so my attention span is very short. The content in the course I was able to get, was engaging enough to keep me fully focused and inspired. I have become a better filmmaker because of FTF I'm honestly very grateful. Thank you so much for creating this program I want more of these courses!
