I have been watching FTF on YouTube for awhile and have wanted to make the dive into the course for awhile. The Starter course was a great taste of what the full course could be. I feel like the Starter course is great for helping me start that free to fee! Thanks guys!

It’s helps for film makers who need more advice and guidance. The lessons actually teach you things and help save time then looking all over YouTube for videos.

This course is very complete. I recommend 100%. Also, it has Spanish subtitles.

Originally, I took this course as a refresher to the information I learned in film school. HOWEVER, the content I learned in Parker's tutorials in some ways far surpassed what I learned in the film program. His content was as much technical as it was theoretical and in filmmaking that is important. Filmmaking is a "hands-on" trade that requires creative skill to not just tell a story, but engage an audience emotionally. Where I feel some courses in university may lack is explaining how to trigger those emotions through effective cinematography, music, lighting, color, etc., yet Parker explains these very well. I really enjoyed his content on gimbal camera work to avoid static shots. This was new information for me completely. If you want to save yourself some money, take his course. Trust me, it's way less expensive than film school so if you go to college, learn accounting or something to help yourself financially. Everything you need to know about film is right here at your fingertips. You just have to go out, practice, make mistakes, and learn from them. Filmmaking, like any skill, is about growth. I've followed Parker in IG for some time now and the guy knows his stuff. That all said, I highly recommend his courses, even if you're like me and weren't interested in wedding videography, you might change your mind. It really is worth it.

I only have had access to the mini course but have already made strides into becoming a better filmmaker! The videos are easy to follow yet help digest complex topics.
