Not consistent, apples of late, soft, inedible. Too expensive if you change your box to items you want or can use.

We like the service, trying new things, and organic food as well as helping local farmers, but the quality of the produce has lessened, with several returns for rotting cantalope, less than fresh mushrooms, spoiling lettuce as if it got frozen in transit. We appreciate that we got a refund, but it is disappointing when we then have to go to the store to replace. I understand that organic doesn't mean pristine, but the freshness is an issue that has us considering cancelling.

Produce isn’t as reliable as it used to be. I often get rotten or very small pieces, especially from the Caypay vendor. I also very infrequently get produce from Washington vendors. I used to love my Full Circle box now I opt out most weeks and often consider cancelling my subscription.

Most importantly, the produce we received was old; the leaves are already yellowing and things like the mushrooms were turning brown and slimy and the celery is ties so tightly that the tie breaks in to the celery stalks and then they rot easily. When I first started ordering from Full Circle (maybe 8-9 years ago) getting less than desirable produce was uncommon, now it is so common that I cut back on my orders. I only order when I am desperate. Additionally, the variety of produce seems much reduced and fresh herbs nonexistent. I really looked forward to those in my box. I was really tolerant during Covid times, but we are well past that and things are not much better. I am looking forward to the "good 'ol days" when we had quality fruits, vegetable, and herbs. I hope something can be done because I really used to look forward to my Full Circle box, and now, not so much.

I've been on the fence about this service for months. They have forgotten items before, though only a few times. I guess that happens. They have also sent me greens that are already going bad. The broccolini I got recently was going to seed, the Cilantro is more often than not wilting. But, I gave that stuff a pass because it was usually a good service. Until I figured out how they do their pricing. I've always know the delivery fee was hidden, which I didn't like but accepted. What I didn't realize was that the prices listed for products in "Add to box" were all "discounted prices." Meaning - the prices they show you for products you can add are not the same prices for the products they preloaded in your box. I called in to ask for a breakdown of pricing for items and they couldn't give it to me. I asked for the pricing of delivery and they couldn't give it to me. To make it worse, they said their prices per item and for delivery change by week. So, as a customer I can't even tell what I am paying for what. They could choose their own pricing - and change that anytime - and we would never see anything other than the total price for the box. The only reason I figured this out is because there is a new statement on their site telling you the prices you are seeing are discounted. Clicking "learn more" reveals that your box pricing is completely unrelated. This would all be OK if you could view what you are paying for per item and for delivery. But they intentionally obscure this and just recently started putting a statement (probably to co er their assessment legally) that alerted me to this. This is the definition opaque pricing and intentionally misleading marketing. I will no longer support a business that goes out of their way to mislead you on pricing and obscure their fees.
