I am an experienced backpacker and this was my first guided trip. What an incredible experience! One can hike from point A to point B and not really understand what they are seeing. Our guide Matt was amazing, intimate, knowledgeable bringing the canyon to life. He has such a deep knowledge of it’s geology, history, and his own experience & love of the GC made for a deeply profound and rich experience. I went in with a busy and worried mind and came out feeling connected and in touch. I will be bringing my family to do this with them in the future. David at Four Seasons was also amazing letting us all know what to expect and helping plan for the trip. My recommendation if you are on the fence... do it, you won’t regret the decision.

Four Season Guides organized an amazing trip for us! It was a blast! The food, the itinerary, the service were exceptional! Bob was a truly professional guide who impressed us with his knowledge and experience. While getting the true backpacking experience we have also enjoyed unexpected but welcome luxuries during our travel. Bob erected our tents and repacked them after the trip. He cooked all of our meals at a gourmet level. And he carried a 90 lb bag filled with all kinds of food and safety items, while our packs averaged 30 lb! Many thanks!

This was a wonderful experience. Our guide Bob did a wonderful job explaining the history of Grand Canyon. Meals were simple but delicious. The hike plateau point and to the river was incredible. The weather was warm for mid October but the shade helped. I recommend this to anyone wanting a spectacular experience.

Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and Dave was exceptionally helpful organizing our trip. I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. I will definitely keep exploring with Four Seasons!

I give this hike 5 plus stars because of the 4 Seasons Guides professionals. We were impressed with each individual we met from top to bottom. Many, many thanks for making this an epic backpacking hike we can now scratch off our bucket list.

There are bigger guide companies than Four Seasons Guides, but not any better. I have hiked four times with Four Seasons, twice in the Grand Canyon and twice in the backcountry in Utah. Their focus on certain regions enables them to be true experts. The guides are extremely experienced and knowledgeable about their destinations. They take excellent care of their clients, from adapting to any unexpected challenges to providing nutritious meals. Any gear you need to use is high quality. Best of all, their guides are simply fun to hike with. In dealing with a small company, you get personal service -- exemplified by this year's hike in Utah, when we had to modify the hike route due to abnormally limited water supply. Four Seasons worked with us to come up with a rewarding and challenging hike. I can't recommend them highly enough.
