I originally purchased 3 and they died and the company was kind enough to send Me three more. 2 died 1 is surviving. I am following the directions as supplied but I think it is just too hot. We are seeing 99 to 105 every day. I am checking ph levels and soil wetness, and the last one is barely hanging on. Central Texas may just not be the place for this type of blackberries.

When I made my original purchase, 1 of the 3 plants were damaged in shipping and didn’t survive. Another died within a week. I gave an original review of 1 star. The company saw my review and replaced both plants without me asking for anything. That is outstanding customer service. The replacement plants are doing good. Doyle’s does stand behind their product.

I purchased 2 plants in Spring. They were 3-4”. They didn’t start to grow until July. One was in better condition than the other which died back to almost nothing. I finally put them in the ground this week because I didn’t think they were healthy enough to survive the transplant. My fingers are crossed they survive the fall and winter. For the price they should have been larger and healthier. Frankly I was disappointed.
