FronteraReviews of frontera.com

I was in need of a product quicker than the standard shipping. The customer service line was helpful and contacted the distributer to overnight the product to me. I was ordering two of a teak stain. Everything worked out great except that they sent me two different colors or stain :( We were able to mix them, so it worked out alright. I was extremely happy with the customer service however to rush the products to me.

Table was easy to put together and almost matched my other teak table in color.

Ordered 4 White Rockers. Rockers were assembled quickly and easily. Directions were easy to understand, all hardware was present, and all parts fit together easily. The assembled rockers are quite sturdy and comfortable. Did have an issue in that one of the seats had two large cracks when unpacked. Carton did not appear to be damaged, so believe it was shipped in the damaged condition. Had to leave a voice mail with Customer Service and also sent an email with a picture of the damaged seat. But within an hour, I received an email back with apologies and would check the availability of a replacement seat. The replacement seat was FedX'd out the next morning and arrived two days later. These chairs are not cheap and initially disappointed to receive a damaged product. But these things do occasionally happen and GREAT customer service saved the day. Would purchase from them again !!!

The engraved plates were shipped later than expected to the wrong address. Thank goodness my admin was on top of the situation. Another overnight shipping fee to the correct location made the final outcome meet the expectation.

The first step in the rocker assembly instructions are incorrect and need to be reversed.

The rocker arrived well-packed and in good shape. It is handsome and comfortable and well-made, a quality piece. The instructions are good. But I found it very challenging to assemble, even though I am an experienced furniture builder (cabinets, tables, benches, bookcases, and the like) with lots of woodworking tools. The main problem is that the pilot holes are inadequate. I stripped two screws (one very hard to replace) before deciding to drill my own pilot holes. Also try as I might I could not get some joints to fit quite as tightly as I like. Nevertheless, the joinery is strong, the parts are well-made, and I like the rocker a lot. The wood is finished for outside use, so plan to varnish it if you want a more polished look and feel for inside use.

Really like this company's customer service. It's super easy, fast and friendly. but it took like 18 weeks to get my chairs. They told me ahead of time, but still. Ugh. Way too long.
