Worst company I have ever had the pain…
Worst company I have ever had the pain of doing business with. They are deceitful, unethical, and lie directly to you. We were overcharged for services not received and when we tried to dispute, they ignored us and ran my credit card without authorization. Team of CROOKS at freight pros. They continue to deflect and deny their fraud, but I personally witnessed their lies and deceit.

David: In less-than-truckload shipping, the dimensions of a shipment significantly impact the shipping cost. We trust you as our customer to provide accurate dimensions to us when requesting a quote from us. In your case, the dimensions you provided to us were inaccurate. The rate you were billed reflects the rate the carrier charged us based on the actual dimensions of your shipment after it was inspected. We always notify our customers of any additional charges and give a change to dispute if possible, but unfortunately in this case, the billed charges were accurate. If correct dimensions were provided up front, your rate would not have changed. I apologize for the frustration this caused you and your business!

Freight pro's promised a pickup that…
AMMENDMENT: Freight pros knew exactly what they were picking up days in advance but still chose to commit, take payment, and not even email when the plan went south. Still Junk! Still horrible communication. They are just a middle-man they have no skin in the game. They get paid on the odd chance that it goes as planned and that's good enough for them
Freight pro's promised a pickup that was really going to get us out of a jam caused by another shipping company. We scheduled, paid, then, they never showed up. Was our first and last time using freight pros.
Response from FreightProsAug 9, 2019
Hi Daniel, I'm sorry this pickup didn't go as requested. It looks like this shipment was oversized and needed a special type of truck with swing doors, which unfortunately this particular carrier didn't have available until the next day. We cancelled this shipment and refunded your card immediately upon your request.
We work with 60+ other LTL carriers; I'll make a note to not use this carrier on your account in the future. Again I apologize for the frustration!

Horrible service through central…
Horrible service through central transport! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Response from FreightProsJul 19, 2019
Hi Russell. This pickup certainly did not go as planned and I apologize for the frustration! As soon as you let us know you wanted to cancel, we refunded your card immediately.
This pickup was made difficult due to a limited access location with low power lines-- the driver of a full-sized truck did not feel confident he could safely navigate his truck in the area, so unfortunately the pickup was postponed until this carrier had a smaller truck available.
At FreightPros, we work with 70+ LTL carriers, so we'll absolutely make sure we don't use Central Transport at this pickup location in the future!

If only a negative rating was available
Seems to be a pattern here, same company, same employees. I used Freightpros for years and had very few issues but when an insurance claim came up, they do not do a thing to help. They are more than willing to sell you the insurance but not file correctly or treat people professionally. This last incident , I paid for $5k in coverage as I have on the 200+ shipments we booked though them, paid $1,034 for shipping and the items where damaged and returned for us to repair. The total claim was for $4600 (That included shipping) I was offered $1100 because they filed wrong, I paid an additional $1300 to ship it back, Right now I am out $5900 and they after I told them this was not acceptable refuse to help at all. Great company morals, Look at other options, this is not a good choice. Now they have responded with very little truth nice, just proves my point.

Randall: Per our many conversations, you insured this product for $5000 and the insurance company DID approve your claim for that amount. It wasn't until later that you realized you made a mistake and meant to insure your product for a higher value. I apologize for the frustration but providing the correct value up-front is crucial for getting the correct payout from insurance companies.

These people are a bunch of kids that don't care about you or your business!
If you are a business owner in need of shipping services don't use this one! Very rude and to be honest they don't care about you the customer!
I had a very bad experience working with them.
If I was the owner of this company I would be firing a few! There are plenty other shipping brokers out there that will treat you right .... Just search for them ! If you like children handling your business then give freight pros a try!
Protect your money stay clear of freight pros !

Hi Dean,
I'm sorry that our level of service did not meet your expectations. I have thoroughly reviewed the history of your account and feel that the decision to discontinue business from our end with your company was completely appropriate. We do our best to find companies that will benefit from the services we provide and hopefully over time, develop a true partnership with those businesses. The nature and tone of your emails to our team, made it abundantly clear that a partnership would be impossible to develop long-term. FreightPros will try to continue to develop best practices for communication and transparency with our customers, and we will review the history of your account to see if there is anything we as a company can learn from it going forward in terms of setting proper expectations related to freight and shipping for our future customers.
Best of luck to you and your business.
Respectfully,
Chris Clever

Overpromised, under delivered... Very costly trial.
Promised that using Freight Pros would increase my customer satisfaction, and reduce my cost.
Then orders were mis classed, economy carriers were removed.
After 2 weeks we will use them, but not as a full service or exclusive provider as we were considering.
Response from FreightProsMay 28, 2015
Rob,
We are sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience with us. We work hard as a team to form partnerships with our customers that will be mutually beneficial. However, there are times where we are not the best fit to fulfill your shipping needs. If there ever is an issue with our pricing or services that we provide, we will do our best to resolve them so our customers will have a positive experience.
Customized shipping solutions are a part of the services that we offer. When there are carriers that do not perform well or represent us appropriately in any particular region, we will remove them from our customer’s account to avoid extended service delays or ongoing issues involving claims and damage. We want to only utilize carriers that will be appropriate for the particular shipment and will not result in ongoing issues. This is necessary as we keep our customer’s satisfaction a priority.
Unfortunately problems do come up with all carriers in this industry. We do everything we can to resolve all issues on your behalf so you don’t have to spend the time doing so. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to assist you or information we can provide on our services, we are more than willing to help out.

PLEASE READ: A warning to the wise.
Freightpro's are a large freight broker company and I'm sure if your goods go from point A to point B and suffer no damage you will be happy with their service.
BUT BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These are the mistakes I made which you need to learn from BEFORE booking a shipment with Freightpros.
I made the online application for a freight quote, which within an hour or two was followed up by a call from a sales representaitive.
She asked what i wanted to send, to and from where and the value.
The items were used car parts in a crate, value $5000. She immediately said she would add insurance as it was only an extra $50. I said yes sure.
Within another hour or two I had an email confirmation of the quote price. Not itemized, just a total figure. With an internet "link" to their website to accept the quote.
I emailed back and forth a couple of times getting clarification on how the process worked.
Then I followed the link where I found the total to accept and pay, this did show the $50 amount for insurance.
NOTE: TAKE A SCREEN DUMP, PHOTO OR SOME OTHER ELECTRONIC METHOD TO RECORD THIS PAGE, to show there WAS insurance included! Even though the sales representative said she would include it, it wasn't in writing anywhere else and it SHOULD HAVE BEEN.
Once the quote has been accepted via the "link", that information is gone forever.
When I got a Freightpro's invoice by email, I noted the insurance charge was NOT noted as per the link. I thought it was odd but the total I paid was correct so i thought nothing more about it.
PLEASE REALIZE THIS WILL NEVER BE A PROBLEM UNLESS YOUR FREIGHT IS DAMAGED TO SUCH AN EXTENT THAT IT IS WORTH FILLING A CLAIM, $500 excess I think.
If you didn't ask for a detailed policy document or any other proof of insurance cover, you are hung out and left to dry.
On used goods, the carrier will pay 10 cents a pound and for new its a dollar a pound. I emailed the sales representative the day my freight was damaged, you know what the response said? Zip, zero, zilch, nada. No reply. I just figured the insurance was with the carrier, the broker had my money, their job was done. It wasn't till I got a 10 cents a pound payout from the carrier that I went back and read the fine print and realized the insurance I had accepted was through the broker, using a 3rd party provider. Who I am sure never saw a bean of my money.
If you never have a claim, you won't have a problem, when your freight is dumped on the ground with you're left to pick up the pieces and try and claim on the insurance they said they would provide. They claim we have no record of that and then say oh it's he said she said...........
This little scam could earn Freightpro's 5% of their total revenue.
WHATEVER YOU DO GET EVIDENCE OF ANY EXTRA INSURANCE BEFORE HANDING YOU GOODS OVER THE THE FREIGHTING COMPANY.
Response from FreightProsJan 14, 2015
Rodger,
We are sorry to hear that there was damage on your shipment and that the carrier did not provide adequate compensation for the damage. Typically carriers do not offer automatic full coverage for the value of the goods in the shipment and their payouts can be low based on the weight of the shipment alone.
After reviewing the quote, we found that the insurance rate of $50.00 was not included in the quote and the amount paid was for the shipment only without additional third party insurance coverage. Our quotes show the overall price in bold numbers in the second paragraph of the quote email and then there is a break out of the rate and the separate insurance cost at the bottom of the summary showing the freight quote, insurance cost, and then the total cost of both rates combined. The online checkout form pulls from the same source as the emailed quote in our system so there won’t be a discrepancy between the quote that is emailed and the rate for the online checkout.
Any time there is a part of our quote or requested services that does not seem correct, we need to be notified so assumptions are not made. Our insurance service is not a scam and we do provide many of our shipments with additional coverage from our third party provider. We suggest that any high value shipment is covered with the proper amount of insurance in case there is mishandling from the carrier.
We work hard to resolve all issues as best as possible but when a shipment is not covered by our third party insurance and there is a damage claim, we are at the mercy of what the carrier will cover with their automatic coverage. Please feel free to let us know if there is anything we can do to assist with this claim with the carrier, we are more than willing to help out.
