I've been a hobbyist programmer now for a number of years and I have never had anyone review my code. I believe this is the most valuable feature of the course so far ... I'm still in the HTML, CSS portion. Having your code reviewed really gives you great feedback and will remind you, me particularly, how lazy I am :). You really start to drift when you don't have any feedback to keep you on track. I am thoroughly enjoying the course so far. I am learning a lot even though the material so far is not that new, the little things are what makes it valuable. I would recommend this 'bootcamp' to anyone who want to get their hands dirty with the basics and move forward with their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Great coding camp no hidden agendas they accomplish what they say they will do and the mentor’s are extremely helpful and knowledgeable on web development subject.

I think what separates Freemote from other programs are how focused they are on streamlining the job finding process. It's only on week 4 of the program! I had the idea to go freelance years ago by learning web development but I didn't know freelancing skills such as client acquisition, communication, or securing payments just to name a few. Freemote is surprisingly thorough and resourceful in this way because it taught me communication and presentation skills that will also help in other aspects of life. Their material on web development and Shopify are also very concise and straight to the point. I don't think you can learn HTML and CSS and start applying for jobs as efficiently as you would in Freemote. As you follow along you can definitely hit a stride and start to feel excited. It is also super motivating knowing students in the program already landed jobs and you can easily reach out to them within the Freemote student and mentor community.

Very helpful review. The feedback and explanation of why it should be changed or simplified was very helpful. I realized I carried over some of those mistakes to current projects, so I went ahead and started to fix them.

I am still in the HTML and CSS portion of the course but I am taking my time to learn it in detail. The course has been great so far! They take the time to teach you the important parts of coding. You cannot memorize everything and it is not expected of you to. I just had my first first Video Feedback review of my project by Berk. What a great idea! It personalizes it to your project. Berk pointed out a couple of things to make my coding look more professional and clean. He also taught me some pointers to get the picture in better alignment which made it even better. I think it is totally worth the money and your time.

Freemote is a first-rate program! I'm pretty new to it but am already highly impressed with the value delivered. The technical training is excellent and the personal feedback and review is top-notch. Additionally, the mindset orientation they promote as well as the application that they make to a specific market niche are skills that I predict will serve me for the rest of my professional life as I will ultimately be able to apply these approaches to other things in the future as markets evolve. I couldn't recommend this program enough if you are interested in getting into this industry! This program is the real deal and the teachers/instructors are great people with great attitudes and a natural aptitude for teaching.

This has been an excellent investment. I was hesitant at first and had to take a few days to consider whether or not I should move forward with the purchase. Half my concern was whether or not the course would be effective, and the other half was whether or not I would actually follow through with it. I had tried taking a Coursera Intro to Python course several years ago, and within about 2 weeks, I was in completely over my head without any recourse, except to rewatch the same video-recorded explanation of the subject matter. Needless to say, I gave up after those 2 weeks. It was free, so I'm not complaining in any way, but Freemote has been distinctly different in that you can actually get personalized feedback and support when you have hit a wall. And the feedback is not just limited to a comment section at the bottom of the page, which they also have, but you can submit your completed projects for feedback and within a day or two you will have a video response from one of their professionals taking you through your project, highlighting what you've done well, giving advice where you can improve, and responding to any questions you may have submitted along with your project. The course is well put together, logically structured, and challenging--but never impossible. I started in the beginning of November; it is now mid-way through December. I have completed two HTML/CSS projects, and I am getting more and more excited to start the JavaScript section. If you're seriously considering a change in your life, or just looking to add another skillset to your resume, I highly recommend this course.
