Absolutely a rip off in every way. Not informed that it might not work with a phone cover and when I asked for a refund, and a label, met with responses such as they don't pay for shipping, wasted valuable precious time of mine all the while running me around in circles without the provision of a label. I would never buy from this company again nor would I recommend it to anyone. BUYER BEWARE: If you use a cover to protect your phone from damage, these bracelets will most likely not work as they use an NFC reader which is located on the back of most phones!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Horrible company. RUN, do not walk and RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!

Deceptive and Dishonest
Sadly, this company practices very deceptive marketing that is not in line with the Christian values they claim to have. In fact, when I posted on an ad to ask about it, my comment was immediately deleted.
First, they claim to have an online community of over 400,000 believers. You can look at their site today and see what they say yourself: "The original daily Bible verse bracelets that not only grow your faith but connect you to a community of over 400000 other Christians!"
I purchased a bracelet thinking I was going to be connected with a large community of other believers. Instead, I found an app with maybe around 50 people total on it, and no real community at all.
Second, I thought I was getting my bracelet on sale at $13.95, since they had a normal price marked at $19.99 with a strike through. I then discovered that they are always running a 'sale' and never charge $19.99, it's just a way to make you feel like you're getting a good deal.
When I reached out to let them know that what they were doing was not only deceptive, but actually illegal, (I included a link to the law), they didn't even respond. It wasn't until I told them I was going to leave a review that they finally answered and told me that it was worth $19.99, then lied and said they sell it at that price 'off-season'. That's just not true, and they know it.
As a believer, and a small business owner myself, I really hoped they would do the right thing once I brought this to their attention. Sadly, their response was all the proof I needed that Free Luma is not a good company to buy from.

Using nfc to make it work? Security isuue
My phone won't read the bracelet,I work for a major cell company and it's the bracelet and the fact you have to use the nfc reader is a huge security risk. I'm tossing mine.

Hi there! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. NFC technology is used by many major payment providers such as Apple Pay and Google Pay and is required in order for those payment platforms to work. While we do use an NFC chip which contains a URL to link the bracelet to our daily posting platform, if you have either of the items mentioned set up on your phone, which the majority of the population does, then NFC reading is already activated on your device by default.
Any risk to early NFC reading devices has been mitigated in modern cellphones as per the official documentation from Apple and Google which outlines the security measures for NFC on their devices that have been taken. Hope this helps.
