Freedom FarmersReviews of freedomfarmers.com

Freedom Farmers has plenty of solid info—my greenhouse design improved after their microgreens lessons—but the course videos feel patch-edited and support answers sometimes take days to arrive. Good starter library, yet I expected deeper guidance for the price.

I've been using Micro Farm Sites through Freedom Farmers and also have access to their courses. Overall, once I get a response to my questions about 24 hours later, it's generally helpful and supportive. However, there are times when answers feel incomplete or don’t fully resolve the issue and I have to wait another 24 hours. The community forum within the course content has been pretty quiet, and I haven’t gotten much help through that channel. That said, for the price I paid, the value is still there—especially if you’re tech-comfortable and can figure some things out on your own. I'm on the fence about renewing next year unless there’s stronger tutorial content or more reliable support when I need it. There’s definitely potential here, and I’d love to see it continue to grow and improve.

There’s a lot of information missing and I’m still struggling to find. For instance the ratio of Gaia green to the HP soil. I feel something like that should’ve been right here instead of having to go and find another grower who gave this info for free. This is only one of the things I’ve found not helpful. Also, he uses 30 second videos explaining to watch the next video as one of the courses. This seemed so redundant. The course seems too simplistic and generic for the cost. I feel I could’ve gotten most of this info from YouTube’ers

Content Was good that was a strong point. Communication poor. If I had to say Would.t I recommend this, I would say. No.

Lack of clarity. Invoice looked like I was paying for two memberships, one monthly and one annual. Didn't realize I was being charged two fees when I agreed. There should only be one annual fee. If you're offering it at half price, then it shouldn't be half price plus $59.99. This was very confusing. I didn't realize how much I was being charged until the transaction was done.

Issues have been resolved although the training videos are still a challenge to get through given that they are geared towards a previous version of the same platform. Never ever advance a version without first updating the required training materials to reflect exactly what you want new members to know. Otherwise this goes south fast.

This review may be premature as I am only around 60% through the course. There us a wealth of information offered here and rightfully mentioned in the course you need to do the work. Growing is a craft and requires continuous refinement. The microfarms site template is wonderful. However, I've yet to see instructions on modifying the builder section to incorporate my selections that my customers would prefer. Again there are a few lessons left but the titles allude to that topic most likely not being covered. Still, for the price this is a tremendous package.
