I'm sorry you had trouble with the conference ID you entered not being received. The automated platform relies on the digits entered being transmitted correctly, and sometimes our system does not receive any digits, or receives incomplete information. The system will playback to you exactly what it received, and if nothing is received, the caller is prompted for the conference ID again. It doesn't happen often, but if the tones are not received, hanging up and retrying will often resolve the issue. If it does not, you can always use one of the Free Conference USA alternate dial in numbers, available on our website, to get around the issue in the phone network causing a problem with the DTMF transmission. If you email [email protected], we can look up the number you called from and tell you exactly what our system received. I'm sorry you had trouble. Sorry you had trouble, but Free Conference USA does not have an app! There is nothing to download. (The dashboard for managing conferences is available when you Log In at www.freeconferenceusa.com.) No app is required to use our service . Just dial in to the access number and enter your unique conference ID to join your conference call. For additional help, please email [email protected].

When we spoke, we discussed how your guests entered a different conference ID than you did, so you ended up in a different conference room from them. Keeping only one conference ID active will ensure that everyone enters the same code and goes to the same conference room. I am sorry you had trouble. Please email us at [email protected] and include the time of your connection trouble so we can investigate to find the source of the difficulty. When I checked calls in your conference "room," I found what seems like a successful call with a recording. Often audio issues are related to a bad connection into the conference platform. It may be helpful to know that you can use any of the Free Conference USA access numbers to dial into your conference room - they all come to our platform. If you experience a connection problem, using a different dial in number can get around a temporary issue in the phone network. Are you logging in to your Control Panel at www.freeconferenceusa.com? That's where you can see the phone numbers of participants joining your calls, in near real time! Also, I noticed that you selected NOT to receive post-conference reports via email, so I changed that setting so that you will receive a conference report immediately after each conference call that includes the details of the callers who joined your conferences. Be sure to mark Free Conference USA as a safe sender so the reports get through to you. I will re-send your Welcome email with detailed instructions on how to take advantage of these features which are included with Free Conference USA service.

Free Conference USA doesn't charge anyone, and none of our access numbers are subject to extra charges from mobile carriers. Does your phone service plan include only limited minutes of use? It sounds like the problem you had was related to what your phone service provider charges you to use THEIR service. Free Conference USA access numbers are standard U.S. phone numbers, so normal long distance charges apply - although most subscribers have unlimited long distance with their calling plans. If you have limited minutes of use with your calling plan, then calling a Free Conference USA number would count the same as calling any other U.S. phone number.

I'm sorry you had trouble. A quick look shows one of your participants was connected twice in the same window of time, so perhaps it is that caller that you heard dialing. If you send your call details to [email protected], we can investigate further and get back to you with what we find.
