I was hit by a driver who was unfortunately insured through Young America Insurance which is owned by Fred Loya and this has hands down been the worst experience of my life! I've been in accidents in the past and it takes less than a month typically to resolve any claims but for some reason it has taken my team of Fred Loya adjustors over three months to offer a resolution and I still have to wait another week for my check to be mailed out. This situation only started moving along when I was calling my first adjustor Crystal Gomez 5+ times a day to try to get an answer or some movement but she took about a month just to do her job she gets paid to do everyday and transferred me to my new adjustor Isamar Perez who has been incredibly slow and unenthusiastic with her job as well. I haven't had a car for over a month, I'm not even able to be paid out my full amount owed because the drivers policy is criminally low and I'm paying for rentals, ubers and Lyfts our of my own pocket while I wait for these people to do their jobs. I've been treated as subhuman and like my ability to drive around doesn't matter to these people although I'm sure they all have their own vehicles they drive to and from the job they have but don't do. I'll never use this company, I'll warn everyone I know about this company and I will hope and pray that I'm never hit by someone insured under a Fred Loya insurance company again because their practices are scammy and they treat people like absolute garbage. I truly hope nobody is hit by a Fred Loya insured driver because this insurance company is a fraud.

Please do yourself a favor and do not do business with this company. Based on my personal experience, it has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have ever had with a company. The company appears to subcontract much of its work, which creates a serious lack of accountability. I have filed five written complaints regarding my experience and have been extremely disappointed with the way my concerns have been handled. I have also filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance because I believe these issues deserve independent review. In my experience, the company's practices have been unethical, deceptive, inconsistent, and highly unprofessional. Dealing with them has been a tremendous waste of time and energy. If you currently have a claim with this company, I strongly recommend that you document everything, keep copies of all communications, and consider pursuing the appropriate legal or regulatory remedies. If you have the option to handle your claim through your own insurance company, you may also want to explore that option. I sincerely hope other consumers do not have to go through what I have experienced. Based on the pattern of problems I encountered, I believe the company's business practices should be thoroughly investigated to determine whether consumers are being treated fairly and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Consumers deserve transparency, accountability, fair treatment, and professional service.

Fred Loya Car Insurance is terrible. They dodge calls, hide fees, and make claims a nightmare. They’re quick to take your money and slow to help when you actually need them. • Short & Aggressive — Worst car insurance I’ve dealt with. Rude service, surprise charges, and zero support. I wouldn’t trust them with anything. • Cut‑Throat Review — Fred Loya is a mess. They don’t communicate, they don’t help, and they don’t care. Avoid this company.

They got paid out for my accident, and didn't give me my payment for my damages that were paid out by the other party's insurance company. The claim agent Ezekiel Avila and his manager Diana Amaya have been running me in circles. I've been trying to contact them this month, and all I get is someone who answers the phone that doesn't speak English and told to call back in 10 minutes, only to get the same non English speaking person. I've filed a report with the BBB even though they are not a member and also with the FTC. I would suggest that anyone having a problem with them also contact the FTC because they only help with getting your payments back after a certain amount of complaints.

This is the most hypocritical insurance company I have ever encountered. Since Ferd Loya is a lawyer specializing in accident cases, he is all too eager to extract every last penny he can from insurance companies when representing an accident victim; yet, when one of his own clients is involved in an accident, they only want to pay the bare minimum. I was involved in an accident in March with one of their clients, and the insurer is insisting on paying only the minimum—an amount that doesn't even cover the cost of the damaged parts on the vehicles involved. Furthermore, they claim that this offer is non-negotiable—you either accept it, or you accept it. Pure hypocrisy.

Fred Loya Insurance is hands down one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. Every step of the process is a mess—no accountability, no communication, and absolutely no respect for customers. Phone calls are ignored or dismissed, and they actively avoid letting you speak to anyone who can actually make decisions or provide real answers. You are passed around, stonewalled, or flat‑out brushed off. This feels intentional, not accidental. Their conduct appears to be in clear violation of Texas Insurance Code Chapters 541 and 542, particularly when it comes to unfair practices and failure to handle matters in a timely and transparent manner. Instead of resolving issues, they delay, deflect, and frustrate until you give up. If I could leave a zero‑star rating, I would. I strongly warn anyone considering Fred Loya Insurance to look elsewhere. Do not waste your time, energy, or money on a company that operates this way.

The people in the local office I signed up through had fair customer service. The Fred loya customer login is completely useless. It’s very primitive in that the only thing you can do is click through a bunch of nothing and make a payment. Although most of the businesses claim to be open on saturdays, every single one of the phone numbers called gets transfered to an answering service who then transfers you again. Then you get hung up on or nobody answers at all. The number that the answering service provided me led directly to the exact same individual that gave me “another number to try” I spend over 20 minutes of my time calling multiple numbers, hung up on 3 times and still no resolve. I simply needed to update my payment method for automatic payments for my auto insurance policy, and that is not an option with their customer login. Poor customer service, no useful customer login to resolve things online, and from several other reviews I have read during my attempt to contact them during listed normal business hours state that this company is unhelpful and unreliable.

By honoring insurance claims when they know their insurer is at fault even with a police report they still tried to deny me my claim It seems that they were more or the adjuster Miss Luna was more biased towards the insurer a Spanish descendant woman with no United States license that hit my vehicle and lied and said that I hit hers the police report revealed that it was totally her fault but they still didn't want to pay and I think that's a shame if you're an established company if you're insurer is at fault the same as if I was at fault the claim would be honored it but it got dishonored and I got ridicued and again it was biased on a lie not the truth but bias on race which was pitiful in this day and time and I just wanted to write the review this is not to be revengeful but to say I was done wrong and as well as not being compensated which is horrendous when they're insurer tore up my vehicle and didn't want to pay and if I would have lied or did the same my insurer would have paid but it seems like Fred loya is only a biased company that only rolls with what they're lying insurer says even with a police report again so I would advise anyone that's an accident or an insured which I'm quite sure had disappointments with getting their car fixed if you were the insurer and not the victim with this company should also hire a lawyer because they will not honor the claim but yet try to get out of it And I guess that's the rule of thumb if you're the insurance company ensuring people and hopes that they don't tear up something but not when you know and still don't want to pay That's despicable even more ignomonious and they need to fix this problem if they're going to exist and the insurance field I would hate to encounter an accident which I don't want to have a accident I was not in my car when this accident occurred and they still didn't want to pay Make that make sense what if I was in the vehicle with them still did the same and this person hurt me so I put out the question to the country and I guess the world if their insuring people out of the United States watch out you will get wronged
