I purchased a crate motor in December, 2021 which arrived in a box which was torn open due to being tipped over or dropped. Both my mechanics stated a part on this motor had obviously been replaced, which caused this motor not to line up when placed on the motor mount. They had to switch a part from the old motor to replace the incorrect one Fraser had put on.
I sent my core back on 2-9-22, and called Fraser Engine to explain what had transpired. I was told by a fellow in customer service he would have Jenn call me back, and to this date of 2-29-22, I have heard nothing from them. The $500 core charge should be refunded to me as I did as instructed in returning the core, and the change was made due to their substituting a piece with an incorrect part which did not fit. Not a good experience with this company and will not recommend them to anyone.

"My" Fraser Experience
My Fraser engine was purchased through AutoMetrics on Nov 18th, 2021. I personally sought out an alternate from Ford Motor Company because I had been placed on a wait list since Aug 27th, 2021 (with Ford) for nearly four months. I called Fraser directly and was told that the 3.5L EcoBoost engine was "on the shelf" and once ordered would be "shipped within 5-7 days." I informed AutoMetrics (Yakima WA) on approximately Nov 15th to change the order to Fraser from Ford since this would hopefully expedite the engine replacement so I could have my truck in preparation for winter driving. Fraser accepted payment of the engine on Nov 18, 2021 (confirmation #54769).
In mid-Dec, after no communication from Fraser, no updates, and no returned calls to my half dozen inquiries, I left a one star review on Google explaining the situation and that if Fraser corrected the issue soon I would be happy to change the review. At 0500 hrs PST the next morning, Dominic Stella (Fraser) called me stating that my review had upset management and threatened to cancel my order and refund the engine, because, "I didn't like working with a 'keyboard warrior'." I was absolutely polite the duration of the call as I listened to his tirade and after a return call by my wife as an effort to move forward with getting my truck back to operational. I just wanted the engine that I had bought/paid for or updates on the status as to what was taking so long. Fraser CFO, Paul, called me and informed me that the engine would ship the next day, however the engine did not arrive for over a month.
January 6, 2022, the Fraser engine showed up to AutoMetrics, where my truck has been held for repair since Aug 2021. AutoMetrics installed the new engine and found that it was spewing oil all over due to a manufacturer defect (Fraser had sent a faulty engine). I have since been waiting for Fraser to replace the engine and pick up the two cores, by the way, I'm still waiting. At this point I have invested $16,213.71 dollars into a truck engine that I cannot use.
I would like the full $16,213.71 reimbursed and Fraser to collect their scrap engine so that I can put the funds toward a motor that will be operable as this is the primary vehicle used for my family of seven children in a location that is prone to severe winter weather. I do not trust Fraser, their warranty plans, their customer service, or their business ethics. At this point I have invested more into the simple engine replacement than I spent purchasing the whole truck. For more than six months, I have had no way of transporting my large family without my truck. We only have a Honda Civic to use between my wife and I aside from our motorcycles. I cannot afford to purchase another vehicle with this hanging over my head. I do not trust Frasers product, and I cannot afford to get my truck back knowing that the chances are high it is a "ticking time bomb", as quoted from multiple online reviews that have posted since I purchased the engine last year. I need Fraser to do the right thing so we can part ways. I was hopeful, being a Michigander myself, that giving my business to a Michigan company would be met with mutual respect. I need this sorted out.

I bought a crate Chevy 5.3 from Fraser engine. It was between them and Jasper. Fraser offered a better price and warranty (on paper) than jasper did so they got my business. Fast forward less than 60k miles on my engine, and it needed to be replaced. And this is after spending 3 separate trips to a mechanics shop over the course of the 60k miles driven. In that time, I was threatened by the manager of Fraser that if I posted anything negative, He would void my warranty and sue me in court. What kind of customer service is that? The engine was eventually send to my mechanics shop, installed and given back to me. Except several cylinders were deactivated. So Fraser sent me a defective engine. After taking it back to the shop, Fraser then had to send out the parts to fix what they messed up from the factory. So my engine was never quality tested before leaving their facility. I am now going on 60 days since the claim was started and almost 45 days since the engine was replaced. They have not paid my mechanic 1 red cent for his work, which is all covered under Frasers warranty. Even though Fraser has been paid in full by the warranty company for the work done. And the mechanic is not releasing the truck till he gets paid in full. 60 days I have been without my vehicle. This is extremely unacceptable. I guess there is a reason JASPER is a superior company. save your money and time and buy a JAPER ENGINE if you ever need one. This has got to be one of the most unreliable companies to deal with. Getting in touch with anyone that isn't a call center phone screener is next to impossible. I've owned fords and this is the biggest waste of money I can imagine

Called to verify my information on my…
Called to verify my information on my 5-year remanufactured engine just installed by a local ASE-certified automotive shop in
my Ford Econoline. Shop claims Frasier never sent warranty paperwork listing specific engine info or otherwise.
I just called Frasier and
reached someone in sales whose first comment to me was "I'm not very smart, but-- I've only been in this business for 33 years-- why would I share information on an engine we sold to an automotive shop and not to you?
At the moment I'm sitting in the shop as their mechanic is waiting on a return call from Frasier-- my pockets $6000 lighter than they were before.
At the very least I don't appreciate being treated this way. Regardless of how this turns out, I regret supporting a business that makes the claims it does on its website when this is how they treat the end customer.

Sorry but if you order a engine from…
Sorry but if you order a engine from Fraser engines you really have no one to blame but YOURSELVES! I was going to order one and I thank God it never made it that far, I personally own a commercial refrigeration business and my customers are my prioritie when it comes to business but that's just not the case with this company unfortunately. I ultimately decided to buy a short block from ford manufacturing and built it myself so I now have the piece of mind knowing what ive got and it wasn't much more than these idiot's products. What has the world come to I ask myself and I keep coming back to God's word that tells us what to expect in the latter days, that there will be greed, the love of money lying and the list goes on. Time to wake up people it's about that time. God is good and CHRIST is the only way ...

Trusted with oem pistons the salesman…
Trusted with oem pistons the salesman said! I called about a 4.7 and had questions about the motor like any consumer would and I was fed lies because that's what I wanted to hear. So I am a mechanic and this is why these ppl hate me. I called them out on their crap. I asked if the motor had oem parts and was told yes. I asked if the connecting rods, rod bolts and piston are new and they said yes. The customer service is very rude and could careless about your investment. So I ordered the engine and they said they would ship it out the same day and I would have it in 3 days. Keep in mind I am 6 hours away and I told them I could pick it up if it was going to be more than 3 days. They said no it will be there in 2 days. I waited a week before they shipped it out and ended up driving 2 hrs to pick it up cause R & L is just as incompetent. By this time it was 12 days. I got the motor back to my garage to find it covered in metal shavings and paint shavings. I stuck a bore scope in each cylinder to find that they didn't use new pistons and each cylinders was full of aluminum shavings from the heads. I spend 10 hrs cleaning th motor up. Before I put the oil pan on I grabbed ahold of the connecting rods and they had a lot of play in every single one. So the crank had too much taken off or the bearings wasn't sized right... not only that they used a standard piston they cleaned up to try and look new but if it was new then why was all the pistons dimpled and one piston was scared black. Well I went ahead and put the motor in against my better judgment and when break in came around I had some ticking in the bottom end... My gas motor sounds like a diesel. I imagine what good reviews that was left in this page was probably paid to do it to combat all the bad engines and poor customer service they have..... I will never buy a darn thing from them again

Wish I could give less
Wish I could give less. The worst customer service anywhere and I mean anywhere. I asked and received a Quote for for a motor for my Car. The Quote had all my car info on it with a QUOTE# so when I called to get the Order going everything went twilight zone. I called and told the sales person I had received a Quote and had the Quote number which seem to fly over his head or just didn't mean a thing because ask me for all my info again and said that someone would call me. Well that didn't happen so I called Back again the next day. I told the guy I had a quote and here is the number. He could care less about the quote that they sent me and ask me for my VIN that I didn't have on me so I had to call back when I had my Vin in hand. This time I was told they sold it and hung up on me. I would never buy anything from these people because I couldn't trust them and wouldn't recommend them.
