I ordered a 2019 Sienna engine with 50k miles (in part because of the number of great reviews on this website). Upon delivery to the shop, it was approx a 100k mile engine based on paperwork (and it looked it). I returned that and they sent another with also approx 100k miles. I returned that. Then they sent me one that had no documents (was this a clever ploy to not allow me to verify what I bought?). But, it was newer looking. I had it installed and the very first day I noticed it had two oil leaks. One very expensive to fix. They asserted that they tested the engine and "certified" it was in excellent condition. It clearly was not. I am still in the process of addressing this problem. But with this experience, I cannot recommend Fraser Engines & Transmissions.

I called to get a quote and had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners of the company, and shortly came to the conclusion that I wouldn’t buy water from this company if I was in hell. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST

When I called Fraser to confirm stock and warranty options for a reman engine after waiting over a month for an email response, a representative yelled at me, insulted me, and refused to provide a manager or his name. Despite this being my purchase, he repeatedly demanded to speak with my husband. During the call, he vented about hating to deal with single moms living paycheck to paycheck and justified his behavior by claiming he “doesn’t know who will actually buy,” while also mentioning how he fields 200 calls a day and had a customer yell at him the day before. The representative put me on hold mid-question and repeatedly interrupted, refusing to answer straightforward questions about stock or warranty, and even threatened to escalate to legal for “harassment.” At one point, he referred to my husband as “calm and intelligent” to implicitly demean me. This treatment was completely unprofessional, hostile, and unacceptable. I ultimately purchased elsewhere from a vendor who was immediate, clear, and professional in providing commercial warranty details. I cannot recommend Fraser. Their customer service is dismissive, hostile, and actively discourages legitimate business inquiries.

I spoke with a guy named Greg at 9:31am to purchase a transmission. He sent me a text with his name to send my vin number. When I called at 2:30 pm Greg told me his name was Vincent but that he was the one I spoke with in the morning then he hung up on me. I called back and got Greg or Vincent or whoever he was pretending to be now. He said I'll call you back I'm slammed right now then hung up on me again. Is this a Scam outfit?

What I tried to do: called & emailed Fraser to understand what is included in their Advantage Build for a 5.3L LM7 engine. What does upgraded over standard specifically mean & please document it for me? • How they responded: The representative was rude & short with me, and said they were busy taking orders. He didn’t know the details and said “production” would contact me. • Outcome: I never received an email response from production answering my questions, so we chose another engine supplier. If they don’t respond when you communicate you are about to buy how will they respond once you do? Competition answered and was polite. Answered all questions patiently. Engine was not made by Fraser, they drop ship it from the manufacturer. Competitive dealer did too. Customer service was better elsewhere.
