The last D & G eau de toilette I purchased from Fragrancex some months ago. I don't wear it everyday, maybe once a week or less. I finally wondered why it took 20 full sprays from a 100 ML bottle to smell vaguely pleasant and which then seemed to last all of 5 minutes before it wore off. It's taken me ages to realize I've been had. Duh! All claims by Fragrancex to the contrary, the product inside the much less expensive, so-called 'tester bottles' is not the same as the real thing. I'm not sure about the more expensive, properly packaged bottles. It could be primarily a problem with the much cheaper, tester bottles. I don't remember if I purchased the same D & G eau de toilette, which was in a regular packaged box, previously through Fragrancex, or if it was through a local retailer, but the scent was much stronger and nice enough that people would comment on it when I was out and about. But that aside, even if you buy a regular packed D & G eau de toilette from Fragrancex, it is not that much less expensive than it would be from a retailer who does sell the real stuff. The difference in US dollars might be around $20 less, (I don't live in the US therefore doing a very rough conversion) BUT you still have to pay for the shipping on top of the perfume itself! Fragrancex tries to entice with, buy now get free shipping and/or small discounts spam and pop-ups. I confess I've fallen for one of these once. After purchasing and checking out, the perfume wasn't free or discounted after all. Perhaps I should have learned my lesson then. However, when I received that perfume, a different brand, it did appear to be real. I echo the sentiment of the person who questions why they are still being allowed to operate. Buyer beware.

The bottle Guerlain LInstant from FragranceX smells off. I am in no position to conclude if it is fake, old or whatever the cause but being the 4th bottle that I've purchased (first from FragranceX) I can definitely tell you this one doesn't smell anything like the first 3 bottles I had , which I loved.

Frais de port trop élevés et livreurs incompétents. Service clients nul : j'ai passé 40 jours à réclamer un remboursement ensuite ils ont déduit autour de 40% du montant! Ils prennent les clients pour des idiots. Bref : de l'escroquerie pure.

This is probably a great company for those in the USA, but that wasn't clear being a buyer from the UK, I was stung with a massive customs charge which took the price over what I could have paid in the UK had I'd known. Buyer beware.

This company is very much a big joke, i live in the UK and ordered 2 bottles of the gucci made to measure testers the 90ml bottles, costing £25 each you think your getting a good deal however upon paying i was contacted by DHL demanding a £19 vat and handling fee, what a complete joke! It does say on there website pre warning you that you could be taxed in your country the price is discusting, fragrance x need to change there courier or give a rough figure on how much it could cost for this, i will not use this company ever again dont let the cheaper price fool you.

I am contesting the veracity of my delivered perfume, Paloma Picasso 100ml EDP. I have used this for years and know how it should smell and how long it should last on my skin. this has no scent at all. The box and flask look and weigh OK. Fortunately I did not have a customs or extra payment demanded from DHL. I have asked for my money back or a genuine replacement and if not satisfied will contact Trading Standards for them to take further. I should have checked this forum first!
