This is a perfume company based in America. Do not purchase from the UK as you will be hit with a large VAT bill. I was asked for 50% of the purchase price for VAT, which I refused. This is not made clear on purchase. Problem is, if you accept delivery and pay the VAT, any savings you thought you might have made have been lost and its a prohibited item for sending back. I paid through paypal so are in dispute at the moment. I will up-date you when the dispute is settled.

DHL se sert de Fragancex pour raquetter les clients en réclamant avant livraison des soit disant frait de douanes, qui ne sont absolument pas facturés par les services des douanes, aucun justificatif des douanes ne vous sera jamais fourni ! mais directement empoché par ce transporteur en payement partiel du transport, en accord avec le fournisseur Fragancex.. Je suis en relation avec des hauts gradés des douanes qui me l'on confirmé.

I purchasedLempicka two items; Si Lolita Lempicka and Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose. They sent and email and said that it had been shipped withing hours! So I copied the tracking number and tried tracking it over and over So I got in contact with costumer service and they had me going in circles then I come to find outI that it hadn't been shipped. It shipped a week after. So at that point I was already Upset as I wanted it as a gift and I was so Excited when i receive it and it was well sealed the problem was that it came broken from the top part, were you spray so the fragance was all over the place not only that but the other fragance that was in the same package was also ruined since now the box smells like Lolita Lempicka. How am I going to give this As a Gift? I contacted costumer service once again and they have been going in circles about it. This is a fraud of a company. I want my money back to buy this fragances from a serious buyer! If you're reading this don't waste your money!

Yes I like the other uk buyers have been duped & forced to pay import taxes that were not disclosed at checkout making a bargain an overspend.fragrance x have ignored all emails from myself & worse still sent an email saying free worldwide delivery on next order,never ever will I buy a thing from this bunch of shisters & I urge you too not to

Disgusted! my perfume arrived today, but the delivery guy wanted £17.00 for delivery, sent back, have had deliveries from all over the world never had to pay so called 'Taxes' etc do not buy from these rip off merchants if your in the UK, disgraceful !!

J'ai commandé un parfum chez eux pour faire un cadeau. J'ai bénéficié d'un code promo me permettant d'avoir la livraison et les taxes offertes. J'ai donc payé le parfum 33€ et fait livrer la commande au destinataire du cadeau. Le jour de la livraison, DHL demande de payer 27€ de frais de livraison, douane et taxe! Le destinataire du cadeau a donc refusé le colis. A ce jour une dizaine de mails envoyés à Fragrancex, pas de réponse de leur part, sauf le mail automatique... Seule solution: payer les frais ou le colis sera détruit au bout d'un mois chez DHL. Conclusion le parfum aura coûté 60€ donc l'arnaque! Nov 2015

(Would be 0 stars if possible) I really wish I had read these reviews before purchasing with this company. Everything my fellow UK reviewers have said is absolutely true!! It might look enticing with the cheaper prices but what they don't tell you is that you have to pay nearly 50% of the cost of the perfume in so called "vat/customs tax." After a strongly worded email to the company, they replied saying there was nothing they could do and that the fees are clearly stated on their website. This is 100% NOT true, at no point in the purchasing process does it say that international customers may be subject to these extra fees. Personally I think they should do so as unless you read through all their policies (which is highly unlikely) you would not know about the charges until it arrived at your door!!! Never ever again dealing with this company again and have definitely learnt a valuable, yet expensive lesson to ALWAYS read the online reviews when purchasing with a new company online. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I ordered 2 perfumes from FragranceX and they arrived in the UK last week. The DHL delivery guy then wanted another £17 for duties and VAT. I have had to pay this to get my perfumes or else lose out on the monies already paid. The "FREE WORLWIDE SHIPPING" is a hoax and you should not buy from this company. Obviously I have contacted FragranceX to advise them of this and that they have a moral duty to make this plain to customers outside the US and they have said this is not their concern. AVOID!!!!
