Disgraceful company with zero customer services. Paid for Gucci perfume and paid postage and packing to find out that DHL want import fees. I told them to send it back. I believe all the reviews on their site are FAKE you email customer services and they couldn't care less. I've now contacted my bank to get the money back. Look at all the bad feedback here, nothing like that on their site so clearly all fake. Will never use again and will warn others not to bother.

Anyone overseas please beware. Once you hit 'buy' even if you phone up 30 minutes after and want to cancel they will not cancel. The UK will charge import duty (for me £22). I asked FragranceX to cancel before it left New York and they said they wouldn't so I now have to pay the £22 send it back recorded delivery and then they MAY refund me if they get it. It's an absolute joke and I would steer clear. There's always a similar deal available in the UK - which I now know so there is no need to use. Customer Service were terrible also - just not willing to help at all. Really disappointed in the experience and WOULD NOT recommend.

Ordered Shalimar from FragranceX. It arrived within five days. Had to pay DHL £20 what a rip off. Nothing on the company site to inform you of VAT charges in the UK. What is worse is that my wife said as soon as she used the product that it was watered down, and the smell never lasted 10 minutes. Seems everyone on this review site has the same problem. Do not use them. As a retired copper I thought I was smart, proved that wrong.

Like several others on Trust Pilot I have been caught out on import duty to the tune of £36.82! My order arrived quickly in November and I have no reason to criticise the products I purchased. I was almost at the point where I was going to complain to the company in question, but thouht I would revisit their website to see the FAQ's and sure enough the following statement appears: "Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a package reaches your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what the costs may be. Customs policies vary from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information." And so we are victims of our own stupidity and not negligence by Fragrance X! For me a lesson learnt. My big gripe is against DHL who have issued me with a final demand for payment despite my never having received any previous notices! I am a pensioner so this is an unexpected and unwelcome bill.

Horrendous website with no mention that extra payment would be required upon receipt of item - making it more expensive! I will never ever use this site again and strongly recommend no one else does either! Bunch of rip off merchants!

I ordered two items and it took one week to tell me one would not ship. When the second item shipped - at teh same international shipping charges as 1 item- it was a perfume manufactured in France and shipping to France. They did not put this on the shipping documents and I was forced to pay $50 in duty and taxes to get it. BAD, BAD, BAD

As all the other reviews state took ages to arrive,excess delivery charges then £15 tax charge,avoid at all cost.rip off merchants and con artists.

Ordered Jimmy choo stars for approx £37. Free shipping. Thought I was getting a good price until matey from DHL arrived with the perfume and the rest of the bill!!!!!! Couldn't believe it as this wasn't mentioned at the time of purchase!!!! I had no means to pay the £17 tax when the goods arrived so have had to send the perfume back ( which I've paid for) so as it stands ive paid £37 just to say hi to a DHL man!!! If I had known on ordering that the perfume is in fact £54 I wouldn't of ordered.
