I have ordered goods six weeks ago and to date have not received them nor is there anything visible when I track. I feel like I've been swindled. I emailed them a good few times and they cannot give me a proper answer. I'm so disappointed.

I agree with many other reviewers that the site is a complete con. They are obviously aware that the purchase price and carriage is subject to vat in the UK but they tuck the disclaimer away in the small print. They also know that their favoured carrier DHL charge a hefty fee to collect the tax but there is no mention of this anywhere on the website. I have therefore made a formal complaint to PayPal requesting a refund in relation to the DHL fee and will let you know the response. Whatever you do, steer clear of this website and don't make the mistake that I and many other unsuspecting purchasers have made. Update: 22-01-2016 I actually paid by Amex not Paypal who wrote to FragranceX with details of my complaint along with copies of the many comments on Trustpilot. No reply has been received so based on the evidence I supplied to Amex they have provided me with a full refund. I strongly recommend that you dispute the payment with your card provider emphasising the non disclosure of these charges on their website. Tucked away in the small print with no mention of admin fees is not good enough and a refund should be forthcoming! I wish you all the very best of luck and perhaps we will see a change of attitude from FragranceX if many payments are clawed back.

It took me over 2 hours to try to order the hair perfume (5 days after Christmas). When I received it in the mail, the bottle was leaking & spilled all over my head. On 1/5/16, I called them to let them know the bottle was leaking and tried a couple different phone numbers. First 7 times, the prompt said they were too busy to speak to anyone (even to take orders). There wasn't even a way to leave a message. This was in mid afternoon. I finally called another # and was on hold for ALMOST 2 HOURS!!! They never did answer the phone. I finally hung up & was so frustrated, I decided to write this review. They don't even have a chat line. (No way of reaching them). Never been so disappointed in a company. Please, DO NOT help them to stay in business; they don't deserve to be. They now have emailed me with coupons, etc and I used it to reply and tell them my problem. They actually told me to mail the bottle back & they'd give me a refund. As I told them (again), the bottle was broken and I can't mail it back. They said that they will not give me a refund unless I send the broken glass bottle back. Are you serious? Am I on Candid Camera???

Please be aware when purchasing from this site you will be charged delivery + vat. I had to pay £22.40 when DHL delivered my item. This is not clearly stated on the site!!! Will not be using fragranceX again

Despite what their website states, I had to pay the courier £18 before they would complete the order, that was an increase of 40% on what the website advertises the cost at!! DO NOT USE!!

My order came pretty quickly but I got the wrong product. I ordered Ed Hardy Eau de parfum for women and received the eau de toilette for men. The sticker on the plastic covering the cologne was incorrect. I've been trying to call and after minutes of being on hold it disconnects. The email I received is standard with a return sticker however no explanation or information as to what will happen when I return the product so I'm unsure if I'll get my money back or even get the correct product. Terrible. Will never order here again

Purchased some perfume for my Daughter just before Christmas only to discover that before it was going to be delivered I had to pay DHL a £20 import and VAT amount. I got no joy whatsoever from the company or DHL so was faced with returning the product - adding more cost and not knowing if I would get a refund - or paying DHL which I did. In the end the perfume cost me around £10 more than I could have purchased it from other online companies also you think the price you are paying is in GBP but your credit card gets charged in $ so that incurs another little cost. The company needs to make it much clearer that outside of USA you will pay VAT and import tax to the courier and also you will be charged in $ Although the speed of delivery was very good you need to be very careful about using this company and factor in all the added cost before making a purchase I will never use them again

I've ordered 2 perfumes for £55 and now I have to pay £11 VAT and £9 admin fee to DHL what a RIP OFF!
