Our marketing team sends emails of items that are back in stock as soon as they are in stock. Now, depending on how long the email sat in your inbox and the length of time it took for the email to be seen and read, some high-demand items would obviously be sold out in the process and customers who placed orders for it first will obviously get the items as the orders go into a queue. If you place an order and see it is already out of stock, it literally just means that other customers placed orders before you did. We do not intend to have you go on our website for an item that's sold out -- as we will gain nothing in the process, since you won't be able to buy a sold out item anyway. Do note the issue was reported on a Friday, and was refunded the succeeding Tuesday, as we do not have operations during the weekends and during federal holidays (Monday being Columbus Day).
