DO NOT USE! THIS COMPANY APPEARS TO BE GOING BANKRUPT.
I paid Formula / Granero Moving in full 11 month ago, and they have essentially taken my money to float their failing business. My container has been held at the port in Cape Town for 12 days, racking up storage fees of 1000s of dollars solely because Formula is flat broke and cannot afford to pay the shipping to release it. Nor do they want to address the matter so i can pay the shipping line direct, instead they just dont reply to emails with 6 staff member all CC in.
The shipping forwards which are trying to help me says they are struggling to get paid from IMS / BRYTOR / Formula / Granero or whatever there lastest name is!
Every single sign points to a company about to go under: a constant revolving door of staff jumping ship, zero customer service or accountability, months of unexplained delays, and a revoked FMC license.
Please do not trust them with your money or your belongings. They are a sinking ship taking their customers down with them

Scammers
This company, Formula Global Mobility Granerò moving , is run by thieves and scammers. I dropped off my personal belongings at their Sacramento office on December 28, 2025. As of today, June 3, 2026, after charging me additional fees that they claim are unavoidable, my belongings have still not arrived at their destination in Italy. I have filed a complaint for fraud and embezzlement with the Italian and American authorities. Stay away from them—they are scammers of the worst kind.

Part of Granero moving
Part of Granero moving!

They appear to be acting fraudulently…
They appear to be acting fraudulently and have not paid us. We successfully completed 10–12 shipments for them, and all charges were approved.
Their accounts team member Nikole informed us that the payments would be made separately. However, we have not received the payment yet, and she is no longer responding to our emails. it s been more than 90 days.
The total outstanding amount is $7,952. We have sent multiple follow-up emails but have not received any response from their side.

Moving company caused a shipment delay and passed port charges directly on to us. Filled a formla complete, no follow up by management. Stay away from this company.

very bad experience.
It's for a move from California to Ontario.
At first, everything was going well, and they promised us a very quick move (about a week).
The day they came to pick up our belongings, they estimated that the weight exceeded the limit and that we had to pay an additional $3,000. We did so without asking too many questions.
It's now been two and a half months, and our belongings still haven't arrived.
Imagine that we are still sleeping in sleeping bags and it seems we still have a long wait ahead of us.
This company is sorely lacking in humanity, and we deeply regret our decision to do business with them.

DISASTROUS GRANERO MOVING EXPERIENCE
DISASTROUS GRANERO MOVING EXPERIENCE: A VEHEMENT WARNING
This is a strong warning against Granero Moving. An international relocation from Tampa Bay, USA, to the Algarve, Portugal, became a logistical and financial nightmare marked by bad faith and damaging service.
Pickup was on September 13, 2024, yet delivery shockingly occurred on April 1, 2025 – a staggering 202 DAYS! Based on this ordeal, I CATEGORICALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Heed this account to understand their misconduct and safeguard yourself.
Granero Moving's sales approach is deceptively smooth, omitting critical details and promising an unrealistic 60-75 day European delivery. EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION with this promise, especially as full payment is required before shipment, leaving clients utterly vulnerable.
Initially, I was assured 90 days of free storage, anticipating arrival in Portugal within 60-75 days. However, their communication was APPALLING, riddled with inaccuracies. After securing embassy approval, I sent it to their Florida office, only to be told it should have gone directly to Portugal – a ridiculous error exposing their profound incompetence.
A further deceptive tactic emerged: ship booking, never initially disclosed, occurs AT LEAST 30 DAYS after embassy documentation. This renders their initial 60-75 day timeframe a complete JOKE.
While my shipment awaited departure, Granero billed me over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS for exceeding the "free" 90-day storage! This outrageous charge stemmed directly from their own inefficiency and amateurism, penalizing me for their failures. These fees are deliberately concealed during the initial agreement.
The ship's departure was repeatedly postponed, causing further delays. The standard excuse blamed the shipping line, claiming such delays were "normal." However, the worst was yet to unfold. The container arrived at Miami port, but according to the utterly opaque Granero, the ship sailed without it due to a supposed carrier error. The next vessel? Another 30-day delay. Finally, the container shipped, with an estimated Lisbon arrival of February 13, 2025.
A week later, another exorbitant US$ 1,600 invoice appeared for the container's port stay following the alleged shipping company "error." Granero shamelessly denied responsibility, blaming the carrier and promising a dispute they never pursued, displaying utter contempt for customer service.
The container, due to unload on February 13, was delayed 31 DAYS, finally being unloaded on March 14. Customs clearance then took over two weeks. Subsequently, I was forced (to pay an ABUSIVE US$ 1,700 fine for the container return delay and port rental. Granero's tactic was to un-resolve the issues until the last minute where if you do not pay the fees they imposed, the moving will be hold unless I paid their US$ 1,600 Miami delay fee (their fault), with daily container costs in Lisbon exceeding €100. I was forced to pay for their errors.
On delivery day, Global representatives became ghosts, typical of dishonest companies. For the next two weeks, their manager, the General Manager, repeatedly scheduled and canceled calls regarding the entire disastrous process, ultimately ceasing all contact. They do not assume the errors they caused and always with excuses that this is the process.
My belongings arrived DAMAGED:
Broken piano
Broken tool cabinet
Bicycle with a broken gear
Broken plastic packaging boxes
Based on this horrific experience, I CATEGORICALLY reiterate that I DO NOT RECOMMEND Granero due to:
Complete lack of transparency concerning process stages, actual costs, and timelines.
They charge hide additional fees. Once they have your shipment, you are held hostage.
Weak leadership demonstrating zero interest in resolving company-inflicted problems.
Clear negligence in handling and storing belongings, resulting in damage.
Systematic violation of deadlines, causing immense inconvenience.
I strongly believe I was a victim of a trusting on this horrible Granero Moving’s predatory and deceptive practices. Protect yourself and avoid engaging this company under any circumstances.
