Documentations should be included clearer and deeper

I believe that with a stronger focus on empathizing with your clients' issues and providing excellent support, coupled with a more stable product, your company has the potential to truly excel in the market.There are numerous comparable software options available, by placing a higher emphasis on these two crucial points, you have an opportunity to not only retain existing clients like me but also attract new ones.

Formio is a good drag and drop tool. But it doesn't have a good documentation. It's always a problem to add a custom component getting separate bugs in builder and renderer.

Form.io is a good product and useful for many people. We used the premium version and heavily custom components as well. We found a lot of issues with tools and when we brought these issues to the notice of teams they seemed to be not worried about them, especially CEO who only cares if you pay otherwise he is just a weird guy. I would recommend using its open-source version and making your own custom backend for peace of mind. Paid money was hardly any use for us.

Lots of power, but not enough documentation and pretty poor support. Found a bug, verified by Form.io, they offered to fix but only with payment. Already on the enterprise plan.

Great value project for building forms, lots of great ideas and features are included. Not a production ready out of the box, the documentation is limited/dated, there is no response from team for years and the only way to troubleshoot is to look into the code which is quite messy and with steep curve to get into. It is still (one of) the best form builder open source for prototyping or learning, if you need something of commercial quality, there are better paid form builders out there.

It is a nice platform, but it still have some bugs. It is prety hard to read the documentation and some of the functionalities are not documented

When reporting a security issue raised by trying to run the Open Source version of the platform on GitHub, the company was very quick to get in touch to encourage using their commercial product which supposedly had the issue resolved, but showed no interest in quickly deploying the security update to the Open Source version. An apparent lack of concern for security or developer usability in the Open Source Software platform means I am unlikely to build on this platform as it seems they are more focused on locking you into their commercial offering than in providing paid support for a platform that you will have confidence in for the long term or even getting started with a secure Open Source version to try it out from a developer experience perspective. It seems like the company is made up of good people, and the product has good potential, if they just dealt with this sort of issue better.
