Absolute SCAM. They trick you into a membership and charge you even after you change your card. RUN FROM THIS

Waste of money. They got all the money they will get from me. Ridiculous. Probably can't call it a scam, but it's scam-y.

Scam. Charge you every month for "sweepstakes". They don't even give any method to cancel these charges. Noone outside the company is getting anything.

Our contact us page (https://forged4x4.com/pages/contact-us) is clearly listed on our website, advertisements, and marketing emails. It's extremely easy to contact our customer support to cancel the membership at any time in the event you either did not receive the receipt email that includes your login information, or are simply having difficulty logging in or cancelling the membership from the dashboard. In this case, Steven has never reached out to our customer support via email or phone since he signed up in June of 2025, for any reason. This negative review is our first interaction with this customer, and as such I've cancelled his membership for him to ensure no further action needs to be done on their end.

Typical scammers! Starts off saying no purchase necessary, then you're forced into a what appears as a one time payment of $12.95, then it claims you are a member yet it's impossible to actually login but they try to charge you monthly and because you can't login you can't cancel the fake account they've built! Oldest scam in the book! Then I read the exact same issues with other people and I'm guessing one of the fake founders has every excuse in the book and instead of being a business man and being apologetic he becomes defensive! Stay away from these California Fraudsters and just Block them, these idiots forgot the giveaway wasn't completed and started sending me messages about another drawing that I hadn't even entered in telling me I could get 5 more entries but how would that make sense being that you never gave away the first vehicle?! Also reporting this to the BBB! Sad that you scam after everything Americans have been through. One more thing, ANYONE can make a fake live giveaway call on YouTube that doesn't put legitimacy to anything.

Anthony signed up through one of our Facebook advertisements last month for our Sequoia sweepstakes, specifically on 3/7/2026. The advertisement and our signup pages specifically state that the $12.95 is a monthly recurring charge associated with a membership; not a one-time purchase which can be made for merchandise in our store instead. We also have free methods of entry as stated in our official rules, which includes a mail-in option. We sent him a receipt email confirming his purchase as well as providing him login info for his new account, which he received on 3/7/26 but never opened according to our email marketing system. He also never reached out to our customer support team to specify any issues or attempt to login until submitting this negative review. We also run a new sweepstakes every 3 months; when a sweepstakes closes it takes ~10 days to tally the total entries and send them to Compliance Sweepstakes Services who drafts our rules and draws our winners for us. During that 10-day period of waiting for a winner, we start the next sweepstakes vehicle so any members renewing during that period don't miss out on any entries. Our livestream drawing adds to the legitimacy of our sweepstakes simply because you can look at ALL of our previous winners from our past sweepstakes and get their information to investigate yourself. Our winners would not want their name/face/likeliness on the internet unless they knew it was legitimate and that the prize they were accepting was real. We've cancelled Anthony's membership for him to ensure transparency as he was unable to figure out how to login with the receipt email he was provided.

I entered a sweepstakes with Forged 4x4 and expected a one-time entry purchase, but instead was signed up for a recurring monthly membership charge without clear consent. When I tried to cancel, it was extremely difficult to reach support, and the company refused a full refund, offering only partial refunds after long delays. Online complaints from other customers also show a pattern of unauthorized charges and confusing membership practices. Multiple users on Trustpilot call it a “scam”, citing ongoing monthly charges and unresponsive support. On BBB, similar complaints describe being automatically enrolled in a membership they never agreed to, with the company failing to make a good-faith effort to resolve issues. I caution anyone considering paid entries or memberships — the costs and cancellation headaches are not worth it.

Hi Paul, We received a call from you on 12/22/25 regarding cancellation of your membership, which was initiated on 11/21/25 through one of our Facebook advertisements. The membership was cancelled, and a refund of the $12.95 renewal on 12/22/25 was processed back to the card on file as per your request (as well as a refund for the $48 platinum upgrade you opted to purchase with the initial signup after our conversation on the phone). As stated on the Facebook advertisement, our signup page and official rules page, as well as our confirmation emails, the $12.95 charge was in fact for a renewing membership that can be cancelled at any time by logging in using the information provided in the confirmation email, or by simply calling or emailing us as you did. Regarding difficulty reaching support, it appears that you had attempted to reach out to us only once via phone on 12/22, and were answered and assisted within a few minutes. If you had reached out to us previously from an alternate email or phone, let me know and I can investigate our customer support systems. We take our customer support very seriously, and have agents ready to assist our customers 6AM-6PM PST, Monday thru Friday. With the current holiday period our customer support team is a bit limited, however we still have more than enough bandwidth to assist all customers that reach out to us each day. Once a sweepstakes has closed, any entries submitted to Compliance Sweepstakes Services for that sweepstakes have the associated purchase locked from being refunded. This is simply to prevent bad-faith actors from entering into our sweepstakes only to refund after the sweepstakes winner has been announced. We do, however, work with each of our customers individually to ensure additional refunds are processed in the event that a merchandise item was received damaged or not delivered properly, a fraudulent signup was created, and/or the signee was not properly informed of the membership due to a failure on our part (whether that be our email system, signup/confirmation page, or the advertisement the customer signed up through). Regarding Trustpilot, we were actually just informed last week that we have an account on their platform. Now that we're aware, we're able to reach out to those who've left a negative review to assist with their concerns, as well as prompt additional reviews from all our customers to share their experiences, not just the experiences of those who may have had a negative experience and seeking some alternate resolution to what they received from our support team. As for the BBB, our company is rated as an A, with all our customer complaints/negative reviews over the last few years being resolved with the customer in question being satisfied with our response/resolution. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to me directly or respond to this message and I'm happy to follow up with any other resolution you may need.

Read fine print. They charge you monthly and make it impossible to cancel.

We've given away 19 vehicles so far over the last 5 years, with in-depth YouTube videos and livestreams showing updates from our garage and the winners of our vehicles, along with the live calls we make to announce the winners at the end of each sweepstakes. We're partnered with Compliance Sweepstakes Services who has helped us draft our official rules to ensure we're legally compliant in all 50 States, as well as Canada. They also draw our winners for us to ensure complete transparency with the drawing process. All of our signup pages, advertisements, and emails confirm that if you're signing up for the membership to earn entries, it is in fact a subscription that will renew every 30 days. We also sell merchandise as a one-time purchase and alternative method of entry to gain entries into our sweepstakes that does not have a membership attached, as well as a free method of entry in our official rules which includes sending a letter in the mail to Compliance Sweepstakes Services with your contact info (make sure to follow the full instructions to ensure entries are counted). Regarding cancellation, it's actually extremely simple. You can either send us an email or give us a call and provide us your contact information and our support team will cancel it for you, or you can simply follow our self-service cancellation instructions/walkthrough here: https://forged4x4.gorgias.help/en-US/cancelling-your-membership-265091. It appears you've never contacted our support, and have never made a purchase or sign-up with our business so I'm unsure why you've made the statement that it's impossible to cancel.

I purchased a chance to win a campervan for $12.95 and figured I would buy a ticket little that I knew they would continue charging my credit card $12.95 every month. I had to call my bank and block all further withdrawals from this “company” I tried to contact them for a refund but they beat around the bush not giving me a direct answer. At this point I don’t even believe there ever was a real campervan giveaway and am fully convinced that the whole thing was a big scam!
Response from Forged4x4Dec 31, 2025
Hi Andy, First and foremost: as a sweepstakes company we're legally not allowed to sell individual tickets or entries into our sweepstakes. There must be a physical or digital product associated with the entries earned towards our sweepstakes, as selling individual tickets would be associated with a lottery. We also have multiple FREE methods of entry, which can be found in our official rules, and it is not at all required to spend any money with us to win one of our sweepstakes vehicles. For the membership in particular, we specify on the signup page, checkout page, and confirmation emails that the $12.95 is in fact for a membership that will renew every 30 days that can be cancelled at any time very easily. I see in our system that you signed up for the membership on 7/12/25 through one of our Facebook advertisements. Your membership then renewed on 8/11/25, the day you reached out to us via email to request a cancellation and full refund. The customer service representative that assisted you confirmed cancellation of the membership, but did not provide you any refunds. After investigation, it's evident that the representative in question did not escalate the situation or follow through with your refund request as per our refund policy, as you were entitled to a full refund since the active sweepstakes you were entered in for had not ended yet. Unfortunately since this was not escalated by the rep in question, I was not able to reach out to you and provide you with the refund you requested, so you followed through with a chargeback regarding the August renewal. The bank did in fact provide that $12.95 back to you. The initial $12.95 from July, however, was refunded manually by me personally after discovering this issue on 12/18 (after discovering we not only have a Trustpilot account created, but active reviews to be responded to). I've also retrained the representative in question to ensure they are following our related policies. Regarding the legitimacy of our company and the sweepstakes vehicles we've been giving away for the last 5+ years; we livestream all our winner calls right on YouTube, and have full build-sheet breakdowns and garage updates posted on a weekly basis. We're also partnered with Compliance Sweepstakes Services who helps us draft our rules, and draws our winners for us, as well as ensuring we're legally compliant in all 50 States, and all provinces in Canada excluding Quebec. We've given away 19 vehicles and counting, with winners from all across the country that can be verified. If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out.
